In this podcast episode, the host finally shares a workplace story involving "Wadsworth," who acts like a butler. Wadsworth confirms the team solved his first puzzle (answer: candy stick) and introduces two new ones. One is posted around the building; the other is a riddle: "What word rhymes with what happens when cats and dogs get together?" Solving these reveals items that aren’t "sus" (suspicious). Listeners are encouraged to submit answers on paper into clue envelopes for a chance to win treats. The segment blends humor with interactive office engagement. Welcome to the fourth episode of A Work in Progress, the podcast with the inside stories and scoops about our workplace. I'm aware that things have gotten off course, but today I'm going to give you the story that I've been trying to get to. I picked it for our first workplace story because it is so unbelievable. Before anything happens or I'm interrupted, here it is. Oh no. Excuse me, madam, but I have an announcement. Okay, Wadsworth. I suspected you would show up. We might as well go ahead and do this. First off, we have solved your first puzzle. I believe the answer is the candy stick. Is that correct? Yes, that is correct. Very good for you. Did you have any help? Yes, I had several people help with the answer. We have a very smart group here. Now, did you say you have another announcement? Yes, I have created two more puzzles. The first I have printed and displayed on the walls around the building. Wonderful. I'm sure many of us will see and be able to solve it in no time at all. And the second puzzle? I will give you the second puzzle now. This word rhymes with what happens when cats and dogs get together. This word rhymes with what happens when cats and dogs get together. Hmm. That is a tough nut to crack. Well, I can't make it too easy. The butler's code states. Ah, of course. Of course. But solve those clues and you'll know two more items on the list that are not sus. Sus? Ah, yes. I believe that is a term all the youth are using now. I believe it's short for suspicious. Well, we don't have many youth among us as listeners, but I suspect it's okay for us to use the term sus. That is what I suspected. Suspected? Wait, is sus short for suspicious or suspected? I suspect it's short for suspicious. You expect. You suspect it's short for suspicious. It's like a tongue twister. I don't know if I can even say it. You suspect it's short for suspicious? That is my suspicion. Good day, Wadsworth. That will be all. Good day, Wadsworth. Oh, are you excusing me? It seems that you've taken to having a butler awfully quick. I said good day. Well, once again it seems I need everyone's help. There are two puzzles. One Wadsworth just told us. This word rhymes with what happens when cats and dogs get together. And one you can find posted around the building. If you know the answer to either, write it on the small piece of paper with your name and place it in one of the clue answer envelopes. I will randomly select a few lucky people from the correct answers to win a small treat later today. Good luck, everyone.
