The speaker apologizes for startling someone and assures them they won't be harmed. They mention that they have never been on a ship or left their hometown. It's okay. You can come out. I won't hurt you. I've never actually stepped foot on a ship before. Or left my hometown. Or the manor. Or... I suppose done much of anything for that matter. I think ye all need a reminder. Lest ye forget who I am. I am no lady. I am a pirate. And what do pirates do if not make their prisoners walk the plank? Oh, would you look at that, lads. There be sharks in these here waters.
