Kara's father was killed by the Brotherhood of Steel, so she was raised by her mother, Evie Blackburn. She got a job with a mercenary company in the Capital Wasteland but realized they weren't as friendly as she thought. She left the company but soon learned that war is always the same, no matter where you are. Ever since her old man caught a microfusion cell to the face, courtesy of the Brotherhood of Steel, she'd been raised by her mother, a charitable woman by the name of Evie Blackburn. Kara found herself in the Capital Wasteland where her aptitude for tech saw her quickly employed by a friendly mercenary company. After a while reprogramming sentry bots and other pre-war toys, she realized that this mercenary outfit maybe wasn't as friendly as she thought, and left for good. This would soon prove to be a bad idea, as no matter if you're braving the pit, the Capital Wasteland, or the Mojave War, war never changes.
