I wrote these lyrics in the Fall of 2020 for a 'virtual' holiday concert by the Abington Choral Club during the COVID shutdown (posted on YouTube). Our director, Peter Hilliard, set the text to music, and later orchestrated it for this public premiere (Dec 6, 2025). The text draws on the prophecies of Isaiah, the nativity story of Luke 2 and Advent themes of peace, joy, love and HOPE.
