The universe is vast, much larger than people realize. Scaled models are inaccurate; our solar system alone is massive. To illustrate, if the nearest star were the size of an orange, Earth would be in Washington D.C. and the star in California. Pictures of planets are not real, just artist impressions. We can't explore many planets in our solar system for fear of contamination or harm to potential life. There's still much we don't know about our own solar system. Yeah, so space is actually, well I'm sure you know, like really, really massive. Like I don't think people, because you see like the scaled models and those just aren't accurate at all. Like of the span of just our solar system alone, like it is absolutely like huge, like if you put the nearest star to us on a scale of like it being the size of like an orange, we would be all the way in like Washington D.C. and that star would be in like California. I know, on the scale of like an orange, it's something that small. I know, so a lot of people don't realize like how big the universe is and how like even we haven't really discovered much of our own solar system, like when you see pictures of other planets, those aren't actual pictures, we can't even see them, it's like an artist's impression. We've got some of them in our solar system, but we can't really touch down and like take samples of a lot of these places and see stuff, we can only like infer from what we can see from our place on Earth or like a telescope orbiting the planets because we're scared of like contaminating these places too much if we like send probes there and like if they do have life, possibly like disturbing it or like terminating it, but yeah, we don't know a lot about the planets in our own solar system. I agree.
