i hate societal standards and i think we all suffer trying to fit into them in our own way... personally i straightened my hair for years, i added blonde in my hair for years, i was skinny for years... i dont do these things anymore and its hard but feels truer and more like myself... but i do feel the shift in society as i do not fit in the box how i used to.
