Lethbridge College is undergoing a re-designation and will become Lethbridge Polytechnic. This change will provide more opportunities for career-focused education and a wide range of programs to meet local needs. Lethbridge Polytechnic will continue to offer degrees, diplomas, apprenticeship education, certificates, and applied research opportunities. This will align with high-demand industries in the province. With the addition of Lethbridge Polytechnic, Southern Alberta will have a university, college, First Nations college, and a polytechnic institution. Lethbridge College will be re-designated and become Lethbridge Polytechnic on September 3rd. Lethbridge College provides career-focused post-secondary education, giving more opportunities to create a wide spectrum of programming to meet local needs. Lethbridge Polytechnic will continue to offer degrees, diplomas, apprenticeship education, certificates, and an environment for applied research, aligning with the high-demand industries within the province. With the establishment of the new polytechnic, Southern Alberta will soon have a university, college, First Nations college, and a polytechnic institution. In Lethbridge, I'm Brie Boucher.
