Nothing to say, yet
The host, Dr. Faye, talks about the prayer of Jabez and how he prayed for God's blessings and protection. She encourages listeners to speak positive declarations over their lives instead of allowing others to speak negative words. She emphasizes that we are under grace and have the favor of God through Jesus' sacrifice. Dr. Faye also discusses how our words can shape our future and encourages listeners to sing affirmations of God's love over their lives. She ends by providing her contact information and reminding listeners that the choice to pursue their calling is theirs. Welcome to Faith Alive in 5, the 5-minute gospel. Now here's your host, Dr. Faye. Lord bless me indeed, enlarge my territory. Let your hand be with me and keep me from harm, so that I will be free from pain. And God granted his request. That's in Chronicles 4, 1 Chronicles 4 9 and 10, the prayer of Jabez. Jabez's mother looked at him and said, you know, she looked at him from the womb and called him pain. I gave birth to him in pain and she called his name Jabez. But he had something other than what she had called him on the inside of her. Jabez knew he had breath and he opened his mouth and he prayed this prayer that God would bless him indeed, enlarge his territory, that he would make his name great. And God did just that. How many of you have failed to open your mouth to declare decrees over your life and yet you're sitting there, darlings, and you're allowing other people to declare decrees over you? Declaring decrees that are causing you to stumble through life, causing you roadblocks and heartaches and disappointments because you won't open your mouth and speak what God has declared over you. At least agree with God. So the doctor say, I don't know what God says about me. Read his book. His book is the great guide on how God feels about you. I know there will be those who will say, but God cursed those people and in the Old Testament they were rebellious people. We see through the light of history that there were times and moments that God dealt with people the way he dealt with them. The Old Testament does not give us the cross. Hey, Papa. It does not give us the blood of Jesus. On this side of Calvary, there's a different idea. There's a different way that God ministers to his people. We are under grace. Grace is God's unmerited favor. We have the favor of God on our lives through the blood sacrifice of Jesus. The Old Testament people did not. And randomly, I don't know how they were chosen, but there were many that were chosen of God to walk with God, to hear God, to be in fellowship with God. And man, can you imagine the challenge that they had without Jesus Christ being in their heart? Yet today, we have this great opportunity of Christ in us, the hope of glory, that we can pray prayers where Jesus is standing in agreement with us. And many of us are crying out from a place of pain and hurt and disgust like J-Beth's mom, living in pain, thinking that her children would be sorrowful and children of pain. He was not a man of pain. He was a man of power because he learned how to use his own breath, the breath that God gave him, to use that breath to his benefit, knowing that God was greater than what his mama was calling him. How many of you grew up with your mamas and your daddies calling you things that hurt your feelings, hurt your heart, broke your spirit? You don't have to live under that sorrow anymore. You don't have to live under that pain anymore. You can change your future by changing your words and speaking over your life the things that God has given you the grace to speak over your life, that you are blessed, that you are blessed beyond measure, that God loves you. You should be singing the songs of Zion over your own life when you believe that your mama didn't love you, your daddy didn't love you, you didn't know your daddy. You can still sing, yes Jesus loves me, yes Jesus loves me, yes Jesus loves me, for the Bible tells me so. You can sing that. We used to sing that as children. Sing it now. We're still children. Sing it over your life and as you sing over your life, you will realize that there is an affirmation that will come up within your spirit. The Holy Spirit will agree with you that yes, Jesus loves me. Say that to yourself three times. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. For this I know.
