Under the influence of literature and television science fiction culture, notably “Star Trek”, Faahr is an invitation to adventure into the unknown. It is a work combining the techniques of electroacoustic music and contemporary music with the world of improvised contemporary jazz music. Around a minimalist melodic motif repeated randomly throughout the piece, an imitative interaction between every instruments develops using complex rhythm and melodic material based on a wholetone scale.
