The speaker gives an introduction to using voiceover on the iPhone. They explain how to turn it on and navigate to the practice area where you can learn and practice finger gestures. They also mention some basic finger gestures and shortcuts to access the practice area. The speaker emphasizes the importance of practicing and mentions that if you don't perform the gestures correctly, it won't give you feedback. They conclude by saying that this is just a short lesson and hope it helps those who didn't know. recording. This is introduction to the iPhone, lesson one. Turning on voiceover and navigating to the practice area where you can practice your finger gestures. So right now, I am simply going to tell my phone to turn voiceover on. Siri, turn voiceover on. Okay. So now, from here, I'm going to make sure my volume is up. Okay. So what you do from here, you can go to settings. Okay. Then you're going to swipe right. Double-tap on accessibility. Okay. So now, I'm going to swipe right some more. Voiceover says it's on, but you double-tap there. Okay. And it gives you a little brief instruction right there, voiceover, whatever, you know, tells what's going on on the screen. So you just keep swiping right. It's giving you some basic finger gestures. Okay. There's more where you can learn more. But the very next thing, voiceover practice button. Now, once you double-tap on that, okay, so now you're in that area where you can just start doing some practicing some finger gestures. So I'm just going to tap once. Okay. One finger swipe right. Okay. Touch to speak item. Double-tap. Okay. Swipe right. Okay. Swipe left. Okay. Swipe down. Next rotor item is what it says. Okay. And it says previous rotor item. There's a little more into that once we get a little deeper into the phone. But again, this is just your basic stuff for today. So I'm going to go into my two-finger. Two-finger single-tap. Double-speech. Two-finger double-tap. Magic-tap. Okay. And then one, two, three. Two-finger triple-tap. Show item user. Okay. Two-finger quadruple-tap. Open quick settings. Okay. So again, in this area, if you do not perform the finger gesture correctly, it will not tell you what you're doing. Okay. So again, this is where you want to go and practice. Now again, you can go the long way, which I did, or you can go, let me go here. I'm going to hit the done button and get out of there. Okay. So now I'm going to go back to my home screen. Okay. Now I'm going to show you a faster way to get to that practice area, which is a four-finger. I'm trying to remember. Let me see. Okay. That's the magnifier. That ain't what I want, so I'm going to go out of there. Okay. So it's four-finger double-tap, and it puts you in the help section, which is actually right where I was, but it's just a shortcut to get you there. And then again, a four-finger double-tap to turn it off. Okay. So now it's off. So anyway, that's just a little short lesson for today, and hopefully for those that didn't know, maybe that's a little help for you. But I'm going to stop.
