I’ve always been drawn to creating moody, cinematic soundscapes that tell a deep story, but 'If Forever Had a Face ' required something completely bare. I wrote this when I realized that true love isn't just about the high moments; it's about the person who pulls you out of the dark. I intentionally stripped back the production to just a sparse piano and atmospheric strings because the vocals needed to carry that raw, overwhelming reality. It’s the most vulnerable R&B track I've put together.
