The speaker is doing a test run with slides and discussing the overview and demographics of a specific school. The school is economically disadvantaged with a diverse population. About 80% of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch. The speaker mentions the intervention and instructional supports, including core instruction, targeted intervention, and intensive intervention for special education students. The speaker plans to test the slides and see how it goes. Okay, so I am just doing a little bit of a test run here with the slides. I'm not going to do anything final until we are sure the slides are finished. So, I'll just go with this overview and demographics one. So, let me see. So, the specific school we are discussing today is extremely economically disadvantaged. As you can see in the charts, we have a very diverse population, therefore needs. Alright, I've got to find the other stuff here. It is hard to find this. Okay, so overview and demographics. We are a high poverty, low income community. Parents work multiple jobs for bare necessities. About 80% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. All ESL students attend one of three middle schools in the district language barriers. So, I would like to know more about those charts. I'm looking at the third slide and I think I can set it up so that when the slide switches, the voice stops and it lines up. If not, then I will figure out how to do it for each one of them. Let me see. There are 22 total slides. I knew it was something like that. So, intervention and instructional supports. We have tier one, which is core instruction. That's whole group class instruction, guided reading and revealed math curriculum. Tier two is targeted intervention. These are basic skills. Students will receive instructional support two times a week for reading and mathematics. And then tier three is intensive intervention. This is for special education and related services. This is five days a week. Students receive multi-sensory reading instruction. I'm going to stop there and see what it sounds like and if it sounds okay, I will put it on as a test run and see how it goes.
