There is fear of mine, and it is gone There is fear of mine, and it is gone There is fear of mine, and it is gone There is fear of mine, and it is gone There is fear of mine, and it is gone There is fear of mine, and it is gone There is fear of mine, and it is gone There is fear of mine, and it is gone There is fear of mine, and it is gone There is fear of mine, and it is gone Thank you very much for tuning in again As we continue to encourage one another And pray together as we have had yesterday That prayer, when we come together to pray It is a struggle, it is a battle That needs us to be courageous That needs us to persevere And all those other points that we spoke about Today we are going to listen to the word of God And to be encouraged From the mouth of one of his servants Muruti Rasimpi Over to you Muruti Amen Thank you Mama Good morning to all the saints In the platform, in the mighty name of Jesus Amen I really appreciate God's money For allowing me to serve him under your leadership Mama and Apostle Sitole Thank you for allowing me to minister today I'm really humbled Today I just want us to continue encouraging ourselves In the way concerning prayer And how to come before God We heard yesterday that prayer is not a gift of the spirit Prayer is something that we have to do by faith Amen I want us today to read from the book of John 5, 14-15 Let us pray before we read Father God, we gather here today under your care and protection Thank you for the loving kindness that never fails us We thank you for those with us that will guide our thoughts and actions To bring you glory at all times Strengthen us this morning and fill us with your peace We ask all this mighty God in Jesus' name Amen In John 5, 14-15 It reads And this is the confidence that we have in him That if we ask anything according to his will He hears us and we know And if we know he hears us Whatsoever we ask We know that we have the petitions that we desired of him Amen The Lord bless the reading of this way Today I just want us to talk about Prayer My first point will be always when we pray We need to pray with confidence The Bible says Now this is the confidence that we have in him We have to I would like to encourage you to have confidence when you kneel down to pray at all times The word confidence We see it in the Greek meaning Saying it is trust It is reliance It is boldness Assurance It is authority It is sureness The origin of this word It comes from the idea of freedom of speech Meaning that Christians have the privilege of Talking freely and confidently to God about their needs As Christians, this is our ritual birthright We have confidence in our Heavenly Father's ability to intervene in any situation He wants us to come to him and pray with boldness and courage Not because we have it all together But because he holds it all together with us in his mind We know that sometimes it is not easy to come and pray boldly before God Because some of us are plagued with doubt Some are plagued with fear And we are afraid to ask because there is lack of confidence that God will answer as we always desire Yet we know As children of God, as believers We are compelled by the scriptures to boldly seek God's hand of deliverance in our lives And this is our privilege We must know this is our right Ephesians 3.12 It says In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in him And also Hebrews 4.16 says Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace That we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need This matter settles everything It says we have to come to God with boldness We must come to God with full confidence in prayer That we may receive and find grace to help in time of need Pray also with the assurance that God hears us We must pray We have the assurance that when we pray God hears us Verse 14b says We assure that if we ask anything We make any request according to his will In agreement with his own plan God hears us He listens and hears us We assure we have the assurance Then when we pray, we pray with this assurance that God hears us The question is Has God given us a blank check to ask for anything? Again, is God going to give us our every wish? The Bible also says to us that in Psalm 3 That we must delight ourselves also in the Lord He shall give you the desires of our heart Is God going to give us every desire of our heart? We see that this way When we delight ourselves in the Lord In Hebrew actually is a command This is a command from God to us To delight completely in him What does it mean to delight ourselves in God? It means we must depend upon God We must derive our pleasure from him We have to live or spend in enjoyment When I say, like in Psalm 40 verse 8 I delight to do your will oh my God And your law is within my heart It means I enjoy doing your will oh my God Then another question would be How do we delight ourselves in the Lord? How do we enjoy doing the will of God? We delight ourselves in the Lord by doing what pleases him And by putting his will in our hearts So that he himself can give us the desires of our hearts And then if we want God to give us the desires of our hearts What is the desire of a child of God? If you are a good man, if you are a child of God What is your desire? This is the desire of the good man or a child of God Is to know, is to love and to live for God To please him always and be pleased in him Then we will have the confidence in him as our father To ask anything according to the desires of our heart That we know and we know that he listens and hears us This verse qualifies what he will do for us When we ask, we must ask also according to his will Then God will hear us and grant us the desires of our heart Meaning that, coming to my next point We must always pray according to the will of God It is important as Christians, as believers To maintain our spiritual strength By saturating our soul with the word of God Because the Bible tells us in Romans 12-2 That we must be transformed by the renewing of our minds That we may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God For we know, Hebrews 4-12 says For we know that this word of God is living and is powerful And is sharper than any two-edged sword Is pleasing even to the division of the soul and spirit And of joint and marrow And is a discerner of thought and intents of the heart Always when we pray, always we must quote God's word We must read the promises of God And use these promises to claim for victory We must always speak his word in our prayers For example, Psalm 34 verse 15 We say, Lord you told us in your word That your eyes are on the righteous And your ears are open to their cry The righteous cry out and you God hear And deliver them out of all their troubles When we speak out and pray these scriptures We are coming into agreement with God And his power is released to answer our prayers Then there is a promise God has promised us in Jeremiah 1 verse 12 That he is watching over his word to perform it Christians, believers God is waiting for you and me to speak his word And his promises upon our situations In order for him to do something about it And don't forget, remember this That the devil only fears God's word Not your word When we pray, we must pray according to the will of God And that is found in his word The next point is that when we pray We must be very clear and precise in our request Verse 15 it says And if we know that God hears us Whatever we ask, we know that we have The petitions that we have asked of him Jesus in John 14 says And whatever you ask in my name, that I will do That the father may be glorified in the son If you ask anything in my name, I will do it This we know Is an experiential knowledge Meaning that we know It is absolute It is beyond a shadow of a doubt knowledge We know God hears us Whatever we ask, that is Whatever we ask according to his will In the name of Jesus For his sake Asking instead Nothing wavering But believing in God and his promises If we ask in this way We may expect to receive And indeed we'll receive what we ask for We know that he hears us But when you ask him Be sure that your faith is in God alone Yesterday we were told that we need to have strong faith We must always act upon our convictions The words The Bible says we must not waver Do not waver Because the Bible says in James 1 Verse 6 and 7 For a person with divided loyalty Is as unsettled as a wave of the sea That is blown and tossed by the wind Such people should not expect to receive anything from God We must remove doubt from our mind And have faith in his word Then we know that we have the petitions That we desire of him A petition is a request It refers to the things that you ask Petition according to 1 John 5 Is defined as a formal written request Addressed to a sovereign superior For a particular right or grace We must always pray the prayer of petition That is in line with the will of God A petition that is certain to be granted With God's promises in front of us Pray the answer through the prayer of petition Petition him with these promises from his word When you do, you are praying with precision Rather than going around in circles You won't have to guess if your prayers are effective Because they are based on the word of God Always base your prayers on the word of God Then you are sure that you are praying according to God's will Paul said in Philippians 4, 6 Be anxious for nothing But in everything, by prayer and supplications With thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Let your petitions be known to God Again, when you pray Always attain the PUSH acronym Which means pray until something happens If God knows all things And if God desires to give his children good things And if God hears us the first time that we pray Then why does God ask us to persist in prayer? Is there a time we should give up and stop asking? Christians, we are commanded to pray Our Heavenly Father knows best when to answer our prayers Then the question is, how long are we to pray? You must pray until the victory comes Until God says yes Or him God says no Or him God says wait It may take days, weeks, months, even years But pray until God answers Or removes the burden from your heart When God gives you a prayer assignment Consider it your sacred responsibility Until the answer comes Or until the person or the situation is removed Or until God lifts prayer consent from your heart Jesus prayed always We see that in the gospels Every time after meeting the crowd Or before he will go to a solitary place and pray And we heard last week that we need to pray Not to get into temptations The question is, how long should you ask? You must ask until the answer comes How long should you seek? You must seek until you find And how long should you keep knocking on heaven's door? Knock until God opens the door Remember, the greater the spiritual resistance The more difficult the task of moving that mountain The more entrenched Satan is The greater the task of driving him out Know that sometimes when we pray We are praying from an entrenched situation It is rooted and it means resilience It may take multiple hours on your knees But God is faithful and he will answer At just the right time we'll reap the harvest of blessing If we don't give up Isaiah 62 verse 1 in NLT says Because I love Zion I will not keep still Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem I cannot remain silent I will not stop praying for her Until a righteousness shines like the dawn And her salvation blazes like a burning torch The prophet promises to stand on the city wall And break the silence day and night In order to make God remember He vows to keep talking and preaching and proclaiming Until God does what God has promised to do To restore Jerusalem and to make his holy mountain A crown of glory and a song of praise to God Push, push until you get your results Be like Jacob Jacob said I will not let you go unless you bless me Hold on until something breaks Never give up Jesus in Luke 18 verse 1 He said that men always ought to pray and not lose heart Luke 18 verse 7 It says Don't you know that God the true judge Will grant justice to all his chosen ones Who cry out to him night and day He will pour out his spirit upon them He will not delay to answer you and give you what you ask If you are persistent in your prayer God will grant us what we ask for If it is according to his will NIV says he will see that they get justice and quickly Then always be precise and pray confidently And God will bring justice to you When we come with confidence Confidence in boldness with assurance We must speak freely with our father Asking anything according to his will In agreement with his own plan That he has for our lives In the name of Jesus Then we will know that he listens and hears us All the petitions we give to him God himself promised to answer our prayers If we faint not or not lose heart We must hold on and never give up Hold on until you see results Never ever give up Remember our vantage point is as limited as a person Who has fallen into a hole or a pit The only hope, the only thing you see when you are in a pit Is the sky above you We don't always know the landscape of our lives We cannot see into the future The only reliance is on the one who knows it all Our true loving God Our heavenly father So we pray earnestly and ask God for our needs Our wants, our wishes and our desires But we always pray with this attitude in our life If it be your will And we know in that we have the total confidence That God will always answer our prayers at the right time We need to push until it happens Amen God bless us all Thank you mama I'll bring back to you Amen Amen Amen Amen Amen Amen We thank God for the word again this morning As the word of God says that by the mouth of two or three witnesses Every word shall be established We believe that we are hearing God encourage us to approach Him These past two days God is encouraging us to approach Him boldly with confidence And praying according to His will And praying with clarity and precision because we know His word You know it is something that we need to take up as a personal word to us To say God wants me to come to Him Pray with the knowledge that He hears me What really caught my attention in today's presentation is When we come to God We come to pray We claim our rights or grace You know sometimes what is in the word of God I know the word of God And yet sometimes I don't really meet the standards I cannot really come to God boldly and claim a certain right But I can come to God and claim His grace I pray that as we are going to unmute and pray all of us Let us keep that in mind That God has opened the doors wide open For us to approach Him Whether you feel you qualify or not If you feel you qualify you go to Him according to the rights That you have in the promises of God But even with the lack of that You approach Him You approach the throne room of grace To claim His grace and His mercy Thank you for tuning in And I just want to acknowledge those who Daily there are those who put comments on the chat box We do see that and we thank God Shelly you always encourage and always interact Thank you As you say you appreciate this morning prayer Thank you we do note all the chat box messages And we thank you very much May God bless you May God give you the desires of your heart as you presented them to Him May God bless your families And everything that you have been praying for Do have a testimony that God indeed hears your prayers And He doesn't only hear but He acts God bless you all Be safe Be good Be a blessing wherever you are In Jesus name, Amen God bless you all Be safe Be good Be a blessing wherever you are In Jesus name, Amen God bless you all Be safe Be good Be a blessing wherever you are In Jesus name, Amen God bless you all Be safe Be good Be a blessing wherever you are In Jesus name, Amen God bless you all Be safe Be good Be a blessing wherever
