Living in agreement with God
The speaker begins with a prayer, asking for God's guidance and protection. They emphasize the need to live in agreement with God's word and the blessings that come from it. They talk about the importance of focusing on the solutions rather than the problems in life. They also discuss the power of agreement with God and the danger of relying too much on other people. The speaker shares a personal story about their journey of overcoming drug addiction and the temptation they faced when given an expensive watch. They learned the importance of not letting material possessions become idols and the importance of being in agreement with God. Hallelujah. Thank you Jesus for your grace this morning. Heavenly Father I step back so that you may step forward. Less of me this morning and more of you. Father I pray that you speak through my vocal cords and think through my mind. Heavenly Father I pray for ears that hear Jesus and eyes that see him and hearts that understand your word in its simplicity because your word Heavenly Father brings light. Thank you for light in every area of torment and darkness. Thank you for grace and Father we come against every evil and satanic force that may be stand against your word in the name of the Lord Jesus and everybody says amen. Hallelujah. Can we take one or two minutes just to pray in the Holy Spirit. We worship you Jesus this morning. Have your way Jesus. Have your way. Have your way. Have your way in our hearts this morning. Have your way. Have your way. Have your way Jesus. Have your way. Have your way. Have your way. Have your way Jesus. Have your way. Have your way dear Lord. Have your way. In Jesus mighty name. Thank you Lord. Hallelujah. Amen. Thank you Jesus. Certainly this morning we are not going to waste time but we're gonna go into the Word of God and we're gonna be brief. Amen. I was told this is a city church. Amen. It starts at 8. It finishes at 10. So we must make sure it finishes at 10. Amen. Hallelujah. Those ones that side they've got a revival of the township. Amen. They start at 10. They finish at 12 or 1 o'clock. Hallelujah. But we are blessed here. We start at 8. We finish at 10. Amen. Our scripture reading for this morning is found in Amos 3 verse 3. Amos 3 verse 3 and I'm gonna teach under the subject living in agreement with God. Living in agreement with God. There's so much that Jesus has done for us men I'll forever say this. Amen. There's so much that Jesus has done for us to a point where men our responsibility is just to live in agreement. Any area of our lives that we don't like we need to deal with it in being agreement with what Jesus says about it. We find ourselves struggling with things that Jesus has already provided because we are not in agreement with what he says about what we are going through. Hallelujah. Say neighbor Jesus is done. He's done. Amen. The Bible says blessed be the God our Lord who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings. He is done blessing us. Hallelujah. Amen. So even when we say God bless you what we're saying we are declaring something that is already upon you. Amen. Say neighbor I am blessed. Let's quickly go to Amos 3 verse 3. Thank you Jesus. Hallelujah. Thank you Lord. The Bible says in Amos 3 verse 3 it says can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction? The answer is no. Amen. The answer is no. Two people cannot walk together if they don't agree on the direction. Amen. So for us to walk the journey of salvation we have to be in agreement with what salvation has provided. You have to be willing to be in agreement with health. You have to be willing to be in agreement with wealth. You have to be willing to be in agreement with the goodness of God. You have to be willing to be in agreement with the love of God. You have to be willing to be in agreement with the faithfulness of God. Hallelujah. Amen. Say neighbor, your life will always follow the direction of your focus. Are you focused on your problems or are you focused on the solutions that God has given you? Do you talk too much about what you're going through or you talk too much about what Jesus has done for you? When you find yourself with people that have come to just check how you doing, do you tell them about what Jesus has provided through the Word of God or you tell them about what you're going through? Do you spend too much time talking about what Jesus has done already for you and declaring that by faith or you spend too much time talking about what is going on? Hallelujah. Say neighbor, we must reign in life. We must not be victims of life. Hallelujah. Say neighbor, we must reign in life. We must not be victims of life. Hallelujah. I remember one morning I had my things going on. Hallelujah. Say neighbor, our spirits are perfect but our souls can be under siege sometimes. Amen. And I went to to the Apostle, my dad, amen, and I said, Dad, this is how I'm feeling. This is what's going on. And man, he was just listening and he kept quiet for a good five minutes after me telling him about how I'm feeling and how frustrated I am and how this is not working, that might work and everything like that. Just venting. Amen. And he said, son, you must not let life happen to you. You must happen to life. Let us not allow life to happen to us. Let us happen to what the enemy is throwing our way through the truth of God's Word. Hallelujah. Of course, he then gave me scriptures and scriptures and scriptures. Hallelujah. But we must reign in life and not be victims of life. Hallelujah. Our lives will always take on the nature of what we agree with. Our lives will always take on the nature of what we agree with. If you agree with a lie, your life will take the nature of that lie. Your spirit is perfect. That's who you are in Christ. Everything that Jesus has done for you, it's in the spirit, man. Your spirit cannot be tempered with, but man, your soul will always take the shape and the nature of what you agree with. Hallelujah. Say, neighbor, your soul is your mind, will, and emotions. Hallelujah. That's where we live life. Amen. So for us to be effective in the journey of life, we must always be in agreement with who we are in the spirit and what we have in the spirit. Hallelujah. Say, I have everything pertaining to life and godliness. Hallelujah. Amen. Man, there's power in agreement. As simple as it may sound, there is power in agreement. The Bible says where two or more, or rather two or three agree on a thing, it shall be established. But as I was driving, the Holy Spirit just put this thing on my heart that, you know, we like agreeing with people, or let's say maybe I go to Pastor Machel and say, Pastor Machel, I'm believing God for this, and I want you to stand in agreement with me. The two or more, it's not necessarily talking about the next person. It's talking about you and the Trinity. Man, it blew my mind. And the Holy Spirit said, son, we are quick to rush to people at the expense of you just having a revelation that me and you are the majority. You and God are the majority. I'm not against working with people. I'm not against praying with people. I'm not against discussing the word with people. But man, you must always understand that for things to happen, and for things to happen the way God wants them to happen, it starts with you and Him. You have to be in agreement with Him and be at peace with it. Because the Bible says the fear of man brings a snare. Some people can't believe God by themselves. They need other people, and that's where the problem is. Hallelujah. In the words of young people like me, that's where the danger is. Amen. Hallelujah. The danger is you can't believe God for yourself. Hallelujah. But we need to be people that are going to be intentional about being in agreement with God and be at peace with it, without other people. Amen. Hallelujah. Personally with me, there's never been a time where I've been in agreement with God, just me and Him, and I stepped into disappointment. There's never been that time. From the day where I was a baby Christian, my spirit was perfect, but I was a baby Christian, man, I took the chance to just be in agreement with God. Hallelujah. And there's never been a time where I was disappointed. Hallelujah. Can I share a story with you quick quick? Amen. Say quick quick. Hallelujah. We still have time. Quick quick. Hallelujah. Man, I remember 2013, that's when the Lord delivered me from drugs. Hallelujah. And, ah, what a journey. Hallelujah. And immediately, I think it was after a couple of weeks, a certain gentleman who's a businessman came to me and gave me a watch. Amen. And I'm like, hey, the devil is trying me here. I've been clean from drugs, and now this man is giving me a watch. You know when you come from the world of drugs, you can't keep anything for yourself. Cell phone. Amen. They go, they go. I remember one time, I was a very considerate drug addict in the house. I knew dad was very busy, so I wanted to sell his phone. And it happened. Amen. I took his phone. I considered him. Amen. I put his SIM card. Don't do this at home, kids. Don't try this at home. It's not good. You are born again. I put his SIM card on the table. I took the phone so that he can continue with the day. Amen. You see how dangerous that was. I went and I sold that phone, and that's how hectic the world of drugs was. Amen. But I remember with this watch that this man had given me, I looked at the name. I won't say the name. And I went to the nearest jewelry store that was American Swiss, and I checked the value of the watch and how much they were willing to give me for that watch. Amen. As a young boy, they told me the price. Oh, your boy. Those ideas came. Hallelujah. But by the grace of God, they never conquered. Amen. With that watch, I knew that I'm carrying, when I wear that watch, I knew that I'm wearing something very expensive. Hallelujah. And man, I'll just get excited. And then it became my little God. Amen. Very little God. It became my little God. And I remember there was a time where the old man said, No, man, I need to start traveling with you a lot now, because you are recovering and all of that. So everywhere I go, we're going to go together. And we traveled to Swaziland at the time, I think Dr. Miles Mondo was speaking there. And all pastors, majority all, I mean, pastors in Africa were there present, I think were about 5000 there in attendance. Amen. And I still had the watch on. Hallelujah. I was blessed with it. Amen. And Dr. Miles was teaching on ownership. Say ownership. You are saying God did not call us to be owners, but he has called us to have access to everything that he owns. And I remember man, the grace that night of seeking Jesus, the kingdom of God as a person who was coming from that rough world was so tangible in that room. Like I could feel that God is inviting me for something bigger. Hallelujah. And there was a time where as a man was ministering, without him calling people to do anything, people started going to the altar to throw stuff. And amongst the things that people were throwing there, it was just not cell phones, people were throwing car keys. Literally car keys. It was bad that night. Amen. Say neighbor, it was bad. Amen. And I remember I was with one of our senior citizens, and I think he'll be here today. Amen. Hallelujah. Let's just celebrate our senior citizen. I was with that gentleman that night, and I was sitting with him. And we're not sitting with pastors. Amen. You remember? We're not sitting with pastors. Amen. We're outcasts. We're secluded. Amen. Pastors, that's right. And we're just part of everyone in the crowd. Amen. But we had a good time. And the Holy Spirit was like, give that watch. I'm like, no way. Not today. Ever since I was set free from drugs, this is my precious gift. I can't get rid of it, you know? And he was just so gentle with me. And he said, son, give the watch. And I kept holding back, took it off. I didn't reach out to him, but he saw me taking it to the front. I just literally went and I dropped the watch. And when I was going there, it was painful. But when I was coming back, it was so peaceful. And I was just in so much joy. Amen. I was just in so much joy. I didn't know what I was setting myself up for. Out of 5,000 people present that night, this man, he's done ministering. He walks out. Amen. With his entourage. If you had the privilege of seeing people like Dr. Malfondro and other ministers of the gospel, they travel really heavy. Amen. They are very humble people. They are not like other arrogant people that we know of today. He was a very humble man. And there are other humble ministers like him. Amen. That God has blessed to be at that level. And they still maintain humility. So there was his pilot. There was the cabin crew, the protocol team of that church. Amen. You know, it's very difficult when you're going with protocol. Amen. Just like with me this morning, I was coming in with protocol. No one could stop me. Amen. It was very difficult to access me. Amen. As I was walking in Glory. Did you see me walking this morning? Amen. But just to paint a picture of what was going on, the protocol team of that church, that one is heavy. I mean, 10 guys and it's too sophisticated and complicated. And this man having preached just before he was, so that was literally the pastor's whatever, green room, the door to the green room. And something told him to stop. And I remember he looked at me on the right. And he asked me to stand up. Church is going on. People are still singing. He's done ministering. And he asked me to follow him. Mind you, he didn't even have a direct connect of who I am, where I come from. He has had an encounter with the Apostle some some time in the ministry in vendor, but he didn't even know that I'm the Apostle son, nothing to do with it. And he asked me to do that. And he said, the Spirit of the Lord is just asking me to ordain you. I don't know why. But the Spirit of the Lord is asking me, he's commanding me to ordain you before I leave this meeting. And he asked me to go to the pastor's office. He broke protocol, he broke all the rules. And he said, follow me any just speaking stuff over me and speaking stuff over me. Then he said, I'm going to leave you with only one thing. He said, whatever that I have, I give to spiritually speaking. And he said, Please do me a favor, study the Bible from Genesis to Revelations. It will keep you. That was it. That was it. My point is that had I not been in agreement with the Holy Spirit at the level that I was at, I was going to miss an opportunity to know the next step of my life. So family, being in agreement with God's Word and being in agreement with what he says, even when it looks difficult, even when it's flooded, man, you will not be disappointed. You will not be disappointed. Amen. Hallelujah. Are we encouraged? The Bible says in Job 38 verse 12 to 13, today I don't want to shout. I'm waiting for 10 o'clock. Amen. If we shout, then 10 o'clock might be 11 o'clock. Amen. But God is good. Job 38 verse 12 to 13. The Bible says, Have you commanded the morning since your days began and caused the dawn to know its place? Family, my encouragement is that living in agreement with God empowers us to live life by design and not life by default. Wake up in the morning and design your day with God's Word. Wake up in the morning and design your day with God's Word. Before you sleep, design your morning, your evening with God's Word. As you walk into the house, coming back from work, design the evening with God's Word. When you meditate on the Word of God, design the destiny of your children with the Word of God. Speak the Word of God over them. Speak the Word of God over your future. Design the Word of God. Don't pray on this. Don't pray outside of the Word of God. Pray the Scripture as it is. If God says you are the Word of God, let the people betray and pray in infanticide. Don't change the Word of God. The Bible says you cannot take or add to the Word of God. Speak it as it is. Design your marriage with the Word of God. Design your partner with the Word of God. Don't live life by default. Live life by design. Live life by design. Live life by design. The Word of God is the path to design our future. To design what we want to see. To design what we want to experience. Design your destiny. Design it. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Hallelujah. Have you commanded the morning since today has begun. The morning must hear the Word of the Lord. Semi-morning, semi-evening. The Word of the Lord. Come out itself. You must put the night in its place. Whatever that the enemy has planned. Update your future. Whatever you have to do in the evening, put it in its place. To design your evening. To design your evening. That the Lord gives sleep to his own. I feel the authority of Jesus this morning over Israel. Don't wait for prophecy. The strongest prophecy we have is the Word of God. Apostle Paul tells Timothy, he says, Timothy my son, don't forget those wise words of prophecy that were spoken over you. Use them to fight the battles of life. Use the Word of God. That is a stronger prophecy over your life. Hallelujah. Don't wait for papa. Hallelujah. Somebody scream. Hallelujah. God is good. Man, I love that chap. If you know him, he is going to be saved one day. Hallelujah. Somebody scream. Hallelujah. God is good. You may not have a word from the prophet, but the strongest prophecy we have is believe us is the Word of God. Do we believe that God has freely given us all things? Are we willing to be in agreement with that? If you are writing down notes, please write this verse down. Ephesians 1 verse 3 to 6. Ephesians 1 verse 3 to 6. The Bible says, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ. Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. We have been chosen. Let's go to Romans 8 verse 32. Please do me a favor, write those verses. Amen. The Bible says, Romans 8 verse 32. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, say, us all. How shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? If God didn't spare Jesus from us, how will He not give us all things? Hallelujah. 1 Corinthians 2 verse 12. 1 Corinthians 2 verse 12. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God. So that we may understand what God has freely given us. Hallelujah. All these verses are confirming that He has already given us. Say, past tense. We already have it. Amen. Let's go to Psalm 119 verse 89. Psalm 119 verse 89. The Bible says, forever O Lord, Thy word is settled in heaven. Amen. The word of God is not going to be settled. The word of God is settled. The best thing we can do for ourselves is to agree with what is already settled. Amen. Hallelujah. Say, I receive my settlement. I receive my settlement. Whatever area you are struggling with that needs settlement, in the name of Jesus we speak the settlement of God's word in that area. Hallelujah. God is good. God wants to see us free from anything that is not in alignment with His will for our life. God wants to set us free from anything that is not in alignment with His perfect will for our life. He wants to set you free from it. He wants to set you free from it. And He says, whatever area that it is that you are struggling with, agree with me. Agree with me. If you are restless, agree with me. I am the Prince of Peace. If you are lacking something financially, agree with me. I am a provider. Agree with the word of God. Amen. Hallelujah. True freedom comes when our souls agree with the spirit that the devil is a liar. When your mind agrees with your spirit, when your emotions agree with your spirit, when your heart agrees with your spirit that the devil is a liar, that's where true liberation comes from. Hallelujah. Say neighbor, agree. Agree with what is in you and who is in you. Amen. The journey of Christianity is simple. It's about growing in the knowledge of what is in us and who is in us. When you are powerful, to be tormented by the enemy, you are too powerful. You are too loaded to be saying, I am broke. Whether it's emotionally, whether it's physically, whether it's financially, you are too loaded. Hallelujah. That's why the Apostle Paul's prayer was that Lord open the eyes of my understanding, so that I can see the great riches of your treasures on the inside of me. Hallelujah. Say neighbor, your prayer must be that of the Apostle Paul, that Lord open the eyes of my understanding to see who I am, to see what I have. Child of God, you are loaded. Hallelujah. Amen. Do you take time to declare the things that God has put on the inside of you? Do you take time to declare the person of Jesus on the inside of you? Do you really take time sometimes to say, man, I have you, Jesus. Hallelujah. We are loaded. We are loaded. Hallelujah. Say neighbor, let's live life from inside out, not from outside in. Living life from outside in is dangerous. That's why, somebody comes and says, hey, today you are not dressed nice, because you are unsure of your identity that God has put on the inside of you. You get offended. The enemy comes at you with ugly things reminding you of a past, because you are unsure of what you carry, you get disappointed. Child of God, I want to encourage you that be in agreement with who God says you are. Be in agreement with who God says you are. Be in agreement with what God says you are. And by faith, if you mix your faith with what God says you are, and who God says you are, you remain unstoppable. Hallelujah. The Bible says the promises of God did not benefit them, because they never mixed them with faith. Hallelujah. Grace provides. Faith must eat. Hallelujah. Through the death, the burial, and the resurrection of Jesus, Grace has provided. Grace has set the table. Faith must eat. Your faith must eat. Your faith must eat. You cannot be tormented emotionally. Grace has provided for you. You cannot be tormented physically. Grace has provided for you. Faith must eat. Your faith must eat. Say, neighbor, step up to the table. Step up to the table. Step up to the table. Step up to the table. Step up to the table. Step up to the table. Step up to the table. Step up to the table. Step up to the table. Step up to the table. Step up to the table. Step up to the table. Step up to the table. Step up to the table. Step up to the table. I remember the old boy. My mom would say, It's not that there is no food in the house. J.J. is because you don't eat. That's why, Hallelujah. The Bible says, The Word of God is the power of God. It's the Word of God. It's the Word of God. Hey, Man, What is in you? We've only got five minutes. What is in you? Oh, what is in you? Colossians 1 verse 27. The secret is simply this. Christ in you. Number one, you've got Christ in you. Hallelujah. Say, I've got Christ in me. Number two, The kingdom of God is in you. Luke 17 verse 21. It says, Nor will they say, See there, or see there. For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you. It's not ahead of you. It's not above you. It's not beneath you. It's in you. It's in you. The kingdom is in you. Number three, Colossians 5 verse 22 to 23. You've got the fruit of the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit is in you. And one of the things that the enemy has managed to convince the body of Christ on, he has convinced us to settle for less. Family, happiness is not a fruit of the Spirit. You can only be happy when things are going well. Jesus said in this world you will have trouble. But be of good cheer, I have already overcome the world. Meaning I did not die so that you can be happy. I died so that you can be joyful. That's why the Bible that I read does not say happiness is a fruit of the Spirit. It says joy is a fruit of the Spirit. The peace of God is a fruit of the Spirit. My suffering is a fruit of the Spirit. Because I suffer for love but with joy. I suffer for love but with peace. I don't want to suffer without peace. I don't want to suffer without joy. Because you still need to see my smile. Say neighbor, you still need to see my smile. Hallelujah! God is good. You've got the fruit of the Spirit. You've got Christ in you. As a matter of truth. Thank you for revelation Holy Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit is the nature of Christ in you. The fruit of the Spirit. Give me joy Jesus. Hey! Oh my petty glasses are working. Hallelujah! The fruit of the Spirit. Give me joy Jesus. Hallelujah! Amen! Say neighbor, don't settle for less. Hallelujah! Let's come to... This is the less important part. You've got the gift of the Spirit. Oh thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Say I have the gift of the Spirit. And I know that in this last days, the Church of God is going to move with power. The Church of God will become aware. Like we are woke now. That we are not waiting for revival. Say neighbor, I am woke. That I am not waiting for revival. We are waiting for the coming of Jesus. Ah, there is no revival that's going to come. We are the revival. Ah, the revival that must take place is the revival of awareness. A revival of awareness of who you are. And who you are. And what you have. Take a month. Declaring the gift of the Spirit. Trust me you will see them. And don't cry for them. Own them. Own them. Own them. Own it. Hallelujah. Jesus fought for it. Own it. Jesus fought for the gifts for us. Let us own them. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Say neighbor, I am going to prophesy. Amen. They are doing it. What are you waiting for? Be in agreement with it. Get to know about it. And the nice thing is that you are getting to know about something that you already have. You are not knowing to get. You are knowing to understand what you already have. Stop fasting to be used of God. Hallelujah. You already have it. Fast to understand. Fast to clear your view. Fast to clear your perspective on how God sees you. God says you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. How well versed are you with that? Hallelujah. Even with us pastors, being a pastor is not a, it's not a, yes, it's something. But being a son is powerful. Jesus had all the titles that we could name in the five-fold ministry. Others called him Rabbi. Peter, others called him Bishop. Hallelujah. Peter called him the Bishop of our souls. Others did call him Apostle. I'd love to believe. Others called him Archbishop. I'd love to believe. But when God addressed him, and even when he addressed himself, the Bible says, this is my son of whom I am well pleased. Hear him. Hear him. People will not hear me because I am a pastor. People will hear me because I am a son of God. Because I am a son of God. At the mention of my Father's name, every knee shall bow. Every tongue confess. Not at the mention of my title in ministry. Not at the mention of your title in business. If you are in business, people will hear you because you are a daughter of God. Finishing from your sonship. Finishing from your daughtership. Speak from your place of identity. Not your culture. Agree. Agree. With who God says you are. You are a son. And sons must be heard. You are a daughter of the Most High God. And daughters must be heard. When you speak from the place of where you are. Donors will open. Wealth will be taken. Because you are speaking from the strongest place. You are speaking from the place of where you are. You can approach life with your culture. You approach life with your Father's position. Amen. Thank you Jesus. Psalm 16 verse 11. You make known to me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. At your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Thank you Holy Spirit. Hallelujah. You can join me on stage. Hallelujah. As we finish this one. Hallelujah. You know spending time with God for yourself helps. There's a song that the Apostle likes. I never understood the gist. But I only started understanding it two days ago Pastor Machel. It says. I was reading Psalm 16 verse 11. And I realized that that Psalm is a direct translation of the Word as it is. It says at your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Good night. Hallelujah. Now receive this one. It says. Hallelujah. Now don't make a mistake of chasing the miracles. The Bible says God made Jesus to sit at his right hand. Jesus was the Word. God became flesh. What I'm trying to say. Don't chase Him. Chase the presence. Be in His presence. Because in the presence there are miracles. The Bible says. Signs and wonders will fill a man that believes in the Word. Not the signs and wonders. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
