The speaker welcomes everyone to the event commissioning a fire force in Adapro, Mwanda. They highlight the importance of having a fire force due to the transportation of hazardous materials through the township. They acknowledge the efforts of the planning committee and announce that three fire officers have already been posted to the community. They encourage the community to continue contributing to development projects. The speaker also mentions the need for a water project and improved accommodation for the health center. They thank the attendees and wish them a safe journey home. Mwanda Fire Force, 22 May 2024 Honourable D.C. Chief Executive of Adapro Walter Ogumasu Honourable M.P. Forakosensi Governors Omi and Buja The Regional Fire Commander The Municipal Fire Commander and his team The D.C. Fire Commander of Adapro and his team Togwe Gansbogwe Achan V The Department Chief of Adapro Traditional Area Togwe Kankanye IV The Missionary Chief of Kelepe The Chiefs, Queen Mothers, Elders, Okinawa Leaders, Distinguished Guests, Citizens, Ladies and Gentlemen First, I wish to welcome you all to this historic event to commission a fire force for Adapro, Mwanda. Apart from the regional capital, Waya, we are the first to welcome the Ghana Fire Service in the entire Adapro, a feat which is worth celebrating. Again, I would like to acknowledge the commendable development rate of the citizens of Mwanda, especially our resolve to build a fire force during our last military exercise two years ago. This dream was born out of the realization that we are situated on a track road where fuel tankers and other hazardous and inclimable products are transported through our township on a daily basis, a phenomenon which could easily endanger the lives of our citizens here. As projected at the data, plans are far advanced to build modern water processing facilities of convenience to cater for the sanitation needs of the community and postpone any pandemic in the future. I equally acknowledge the commitment to duty by the planning committee and coordinators of the fire force project and for their excellent organization. Without your splendid efforts, this dream would not have seen the light of day. The entire Adapro community is committed to the Ghana Fire Service, especially its leadership in the region, and this is for the honor of Ghana. Distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen, I am delighted to inform you that three fire officers have already been posted to the community. And have reported to duty this week. We are indeed grateful for this positive development. In the spirit of selflessness, we have initiated the water project through our financial contributions and labor. I encourage the community to continue with the development spirit. The development alone cannot provide all our needs, and waiting for such benevolence will leave us disappointed and waiting for a long time. I entreat every household to give up their commitment to our development journey. We are working on a database of all household members and ensure that no one is exempted from contributing their windows to match with the various development projects. I trust in your previous records and know you will not disappoint me. More importantly, I would like to draw your attention to the basic needs of the health center. We have become a safe haven and prefer the sleeping for patients in the attachment area. Our clinic's dedicated services of the staff have shocked many environmental records, including meaning the births of 18-year-olds for a number of times. However, the clinic is developing chronic accommodation challenges, especially for the nurses. Recently, a patient has been posted to the community, but we are grappling with getting him a decent accommodation. We would therefore be very relieved if your good office could put up a bifurcated accommodation for the attending nurses to us, since we risk losing them to other community staff and staff facilities. Again, we need a standard garage for the fire tenders that will be assigned to us. In this regard, I appeal to you, Wyoming citizens, other philanthropic and benevolent organizations, to come to our aid to make this dream a reality. I would like to seize this moment to thank you all, especially our distinguished guests and philanthropic citizens of Algona, for taking time off your various positions to attend this program. Even though today is a working day, we wish you all, who came from far and near, a safe journey back to your various destinations. Aspala nukataka. Mawunengelame.
