Vocals Taken Live On-Air
This is Frankie Beats live, live, live with new music first. It's on him! And here you are talking to me about the launch of a new Kanye West album. Do you like Kanye West, by the way? Are you a fan of him? I love Kanye, I do. I like the old Kanye and I like the new Kanye. That's the thing, you see, just a few moments ago we were talking to, we had Zane Lowe on, we were chatting to him and he prefers the old stuff to the new stuff and I'd be the same, the old stuff is cool and I've heard the first track on the new album but I reckon that it's a throwback to the old stuff so it's going to be pretty cool, so it is, I think. Yeah, I think he's going to resurrect the old lyrics that he had ten years ago, so it could be the same guy, we don't know, but I'm excited to find out. Yeah, it's pretty exciting stuff, so it is, like I said, we are here live, we've got the four streams in front of us, we're just waiting for the track, the album to legally, so we can play it in a few moments. Listen, what's going on with you, dude? You're very busy these days, man, you're so busy. Yeah, I've just decided to put my head into this music game and give it a real shot, you know. It's going really good at the moment, the fan base is getting bigger daily. Dude, you've got a huge fan base, anywhere you go in Ireland, when your name is mentioned it'll drop, people know you all over Ireland, you've got so many fans, it's brilliant. Yeah, it's beautiful to see, especially in my own country, that's the best part. It's beautiful, it really is. Fantastic, you're doing a video shoot, is that for a track that's released, or is it a track that's about to be released, or what's the story there? It's about to be released, it's an interlude to my album. Oh! Yeah, so it's going to be a little bit of a teaser. That sounds very exciting, so we've got to get you to it. Yeah, yeah. We've got to get you live on my music for something to talk about. Yeah, definitely. But anyways, getting back to Kenya, right, because we're literally five minutes away from this, the world is listening right now, everybody is just so excited over the new Kenya album. Shout out to the world! Shout out to the world, Aaron Jay! Come get me on Instagram, I'm funny, I promise. Dude, what's your handle on Instagram, tell us, tell us. My Instagram handle is Aaron Jay Grab. Aaron Jay Grab. Grab. Oh! Come on, Frankie! Don't mind me, don't mind me! Aaron Jay doesn't grab people, that's the action. I know, that's kind of illegal these days. Yeah, yeah, people go to jail for that. Yeah, don't mention the war. Yeah! Dude, well I'll tell you, you know what, just a quick chat, but tell us, anyways, if somebody wants to listen to your music for anyone listening to us around the world right now, where do they find Aaron Jay Hart and his records? Where's the best place to find them? Spotify is definitely where it's at right now at the moment. It's just Aaron Jay, I should pop up straight away and you should find me. Yeah, cool. I think all of my music is going to be on there, the full album will be on there too. Quick question for you, quick question for you. When you're, because you're a very deep writer, you write your own stuff and you're very, very deep because you, like me, and lots of other great musicians have been in dark places and you've crawled back up and you've done magical things, but your writing is so powerful, so it's just amazing the way you do that. And Kanye's new album is the same kind of thing. You put so much work into your lyrics, don't you? Yeah, all of my lyrics are a reflection of self. It's everything that I go through on a daily basis. I think I'm more creative when I'm on my lowest. I feel it, yeah. I'm basically, I'm more together when I am on that, if that makes any sense. Yeah, it makes perfect sense, it does. I think that's where my creativity comes from. Not that I'm sad all the time, I'm mostly very happy all the time, but I just like to put myself in other people's positions, you know, and resonate with them and show them that they're not alone in this big battle world. And this is it, and you know, because we've been in those dark places and when you play, when you write those lyrics, which are very, very powerful, can I just say, and very, very cool, you can feel the emotion dripping off the tracks, you can nearly put yourself, the pressure into where you were, where your head was at the time, and that is amazing to be able to do that. So, you know, kudos to you for that. I appreciate it, man, that's love, bro, thank you. Yeah. I appreciate that. Dude, it was just a quick call, thank you so much, it's 3.58 in the morning, GMT here in Ireland. Can't wait to get into bed, dude. Well, you're in bed, I'm waiting to drop an album here. I'm walking home right now to go to bed. Oh man, it's great to talk to you, it really is fantastic to talk to you. It's good to catch up, man, it's good to catch up. You're killing the game right now, especially on the radio station, dude. Keeping busy, keeping busy. Listen, dude, we've got to go to the Fox Theatre in the USA, Detroit, where that album is about to drop. Thank you so much for joining me live on air tonight, Aaron. Thank you so much for having me, dude, I appreciate it. And we'll catch up very, very soon. I'll give you a chat later on tomorrow when he was off air, so thanks very much, man. 100%, man. Sleep well. Thanks, man, thanks. Thank you, dude. That is Aaron Jayhart, he's just a dude, so he is. I mean, if you haven't heard his music, go to Aaron Jayhart on Spotify, like he said, and you will get all those songs as well. In the meantime, let's do one more, and then we are going to drop some new Kanye music. This is Frankie B. Great song for peaking jokes, one of my favourites of the week. From the UK, this is a wombat. You know, every day when I listen to music, it just amazes me. But it's the amount of new music coming out that you don't hear about until the very last minute. It's just overwhelming. There's so much from all over the world. And it's not the big artists, there's also those garage band artists that don't get the recognition. And we here on One, we're there for you. And if you want to get your song playing on One Music and breaking, email me at hello at onemusic.ie, and tell your friends, it's hello at onemusic.ie. I've just suspended there, so I have brand new language. Now, listen to me very carefully. It's the suspense. It's the scariness. Ladies and gentlemen, for midnight tonight, it is Halloween. Yes. It's ghosties and ghoulies and four-legged beasties and things that go bump in the night. And they will be arriving to your doorstep for midnight tonight. I hope I don't scare you. I've just had this premonition of these kids listening to me in the car going, Sorry, kids. It's a joke. Halloween is great. It's fun. Have your costumes. Go out and have fun. I feel so bad now. I do. Oh, dear. How can I recover from that? Halloween is full of lovely stuff. It's when you knock on the door and you get all your sweeties and all your goodies. That's what it's all about. But there's also some great Halloween music. And tomorrow, we're going to be counting down the top 20 Halloween tunes of all time. There are some great songs being requested so far. I have to tell you that over the last few hours, I've fallen in love with a song from the Electric Light Orchestra, E.L.O. Do you remember them? Yeah. They have a great song called Evil Woman.
