Can you give some details about the polar pattern and any post processing - it sounds very smooth.

I think I posted this here to link to a post on reddit IIRC... it was specifically to show what my NT1a sounds like without any processing at all. So, it's entirely raw, no HPF and is a cardioid polar pattern, which is all the NT1a has. It's going thru a Focusrite Forte interface which (so I've heard) has pretty decent A/D converters. Mic position is about 6" from my mouth, above and pointing down at a 45 degree and angle and also off-centre about 45 degrees. It's in a 5 x 8 treated booth.

Thanks, that's helpful to know. It sounds very smooth - I have the Rode NT2a multi pattern but I suspect it is not quite as smooth as the NT1. Interesting that there is no processing - you have a very rounded voice.
