Hello, welcome to Bachelor 5. Today our special guests are Mikayla and Ellison. Hi, my name is Ellison. I'm in 8th grade at Elkwood Summit. I do cheer at Elkwood Summit. Hello everyone, my name is Mikayla. I'm in 8th grade at Elkwood Summit Purgatory. I play basketball at Elkwood Summit. We're so happy to have you guys here with us. Happy to be here. Yippee! Today we're going to talk about ways to do your makeup and concept and dress up. So I want to help you guys with this game to do your makeup and your outfits for concept and dress up. For starters, you need to know which kind of brushes you're going to need for makeup, such as foundation brushes, concealer, blush, and etc. I brought some brushes here with me today. They're all different types of brushes. I've got a contour brush, a powder brush, a crease brush. There's so many brushes and so many types of brushes with different brands. And you also need to know which brands aren't just ripping you off, you know? Yeah, because some brands don't even have their makeup good and they make your skin really bad. Yeah, I don't really like using makeup brushes that irritate my skin because I have really sensitive skin and it doesn't work really well. You should be careful with the makeup brushes you choose because some of them could be really old and you may not even realize it. It kind of depends on where you go. If you just get it online, then it probably won't be as durable as you need it to be. But if you go to an actual makeup store and you buy everything you need, it might be something you're worth looking for. Also remember to always wash your brushes. If not, they're going to be really dirty. And when you don't use your makeup, like a new makeup, it's going to be bad. Dirty brushes also leave the irritation of the skin, especially near your eyes because around your eyes are really sensitive. You could get an infection by doing that, so make sure you be very careful. The first brush I'm going to start off with is this powder brush. It feels kind of soft and durable. Yeah, this brush is really good. It's really good for blending in your makeup. Taylor, where did you get that brush from? Well, I borrowed this from my aunt. I really like how she has different colors of makeup brushes and how they feel in different textures and stuff. Like this one is brown and it feels kind of soft but also durable like I have the other one. Really clean, too. I just don't like the handles. I love their brand of the brushes. It's a really good brand, too, when you do your makeup. I like these pencil ones you have, Mikayla. They're really soft. Thank you, Ariana. The next step is contouring. If you use liquid, then that's good, but I normally use a stick. So you're going to just shape your nose and then under your eyelids. Contouring can be different. Either contouring under your eyes or in your nose. It's based on where you put it at. Also your head, your forehead, and under your chin. Doing your makeup the right way is really good in blending it out. Doing your makeup the right way is really good in blending it out. Because if you don't blend it out good, there's going to be a lot of spots and wrinkles around your makeup. And it won't look good. You won't really look pretty. I think for me, I use matte instead of liquid. I heard good things about the liquid makeup, but I just really prefer matte because it looks better on me than liquid. When I use makeup, I always make sure to use the right brushes. For example, contour with a contour brush, not a blush brush. Now that we've got the makeup part done, we need to talk about how to dress up properly. Now that we've got the makeup part done, we need to talk about how to dress up properly. Yeah, dress up properly could be like when you go to school or you go outdoors. Because in school, there's going to be private schools where you're going to get uniformed. And make it good and professional when you go to school. And outdoors is different because you can literally wear whatever you want, but sometimes you need to dress appropriately because some people are watching you with their clothes on. If you so happen to not know how to dress up properly or you don't know which style you like, there are many different styles you can start from. From urban or hip-hop to Y2K to coquette to everything. And you can find the right style for you. There's a right style for everyone. Even though you have your right style, you have to make sure you don't look tacky or your clothes are wrinkled or folded because that can really make you look kind of bad. Even if you have a good outfit, it might make people have a bad impression on you. You also have to know how to keep up your hygiene. You don't want to walk around smelling like... You don't want to walk around smelling like... Yeah, hygiene can be wearing deodorant, perfume, or more types of things to smell good. I recommend you take a shower and get everywhere around your body. I mean everywhere. Because if you don't, then you're going to smell dirty, of course. Then get a clean towel and dry yourself off. And then lotion, toothbrush... Brush your teeth as well, sorry. Lotion, moisturizer, everything. Because you can just walk around with a good outfit, but you smell kind of bad, you know? And even if you don't take a bath, it can really show because the dirt will pile up all over your skin. Also, please iron your clothes because I'm not going to be walking around with wrinkled clothes everywhere. We are out of time today, but thank you so much for joining me today. No, thank you. Thank you for letting us be here. Yes, thank you, Ariana, for letting us be here. Our next episode will be about how to update your wardrobe and to throw out old and ugly clothes.
