Written in around 1973 by Bill Devonshire. It is the story of a young girl (Sandy) I met, who died suddenly in her sleep. This song was revived recently when Bruce Gibson (the drummer and lead singer of Mongrel) found an old cassette tape of a practice session. Carefully he was able to re-record that tape without it falling to pieces. I guess I had put this song out of my mind until this tape resurfaced.
