The author of the transcription is excited to share that they have found their long-lost brothers after advertising in a newspaper. They received two letters, one from Brother Henderson and another from a cousin named Mrs. Ella McKinney. They express gratitude for the newspaper and its editor and plan to support the paper. Mr. Editor, the lost is found and my dead hopes are made alive. I have found by advertising in your paper my lost brothers from whom I was separated ever since the surrender. On the 18th of this month I received two letters. One from Brother Henderson and one from Mrs. Ella McKinney of Huntsville, Alabama, a first cousin. May God bless the Southwestern and its noble editor. I intend to help circulate that noble Christian paper that seeks and finds those that are lost.
