This is a test of the impressive mandolin from "Guitars Vol. 2" by Muse Sounds from MuseHub. One of the issues with the mandolin "instrument" is that it misses the starts of notes in various circumstances: • The largest case is when the tempo exceeds 130 BMP and the piece has strings of eighth notes—the onset of the note is largely lost and so the note sounds mushy and too quiet overall. • The notes lose a portion of their onsets when they are preceded by a rest, a tie or a dotted note.
