Crush takes control on holiday

You know, it's funny, this is like, what, the second hiking holiday both of us are on? Last time that happened was Tuscany, right? Yeah, anyway, my point is, we've known each other for a week, at most, and here we are, already sharing the same bed. You certainly don't like to lose time, do you? Relax, I'm only teasing. We're lucky we're all able to stay in the same hotel at all, I certainly didn't expect it. Everything's fully booked for miles around, and it's not like we can ask one of the couples to split up just so we can share a room with someone we know a little better than barely. Guess it's our own fault for still being single, huh? There are worse people to share a room with, Tuscany was nice. I hope the rain's gonna let up tomorrow, hiking's no fun when it's raining cats and dogs, but I've gotta admit, when I'm warm and dry and cozy the way I am now, I really like it when it rains. I love the sound of it. There's something about it that's so incredibly soothing, don't you agree? Listen, listen to the rain. I've got a whole collection of rain sounds on my phone to help me sleep. I've got rain on a canvas tent, rain on a tin roof, tropical rain on rustling leaves, the list goes on, but there's nothing that comes close to the real thing, and my very favorite rain sound is rain on a skylight, like here, so relaxing, so soothing, it's even nice to look at too, look at it, right above you, watch the rain come pouring down, it's almost like it's washing over you, isn't it, like you're falling up into the sky, falling, falling, falling, falling, falling, falling, hypnotizing you, are you being serious right now, I don't know the first thing about hypnosis, but even I know you can't do it on the fly, seriously, hey look at me, hey, I'm not pinning you down, I'm trying to put you at ease, we were having such a beautiful moment there, why would you think it was something sinister, I'm not letting you go until you relax, you can't accuse me of something like that and then turn away and ignore me, we're clearing the air between us, and we're doing it now, this is the only holiday I'm getting this year, and I'm not gonna let you ruin it by acting all weird around me, look, I know you're not used to spending the night with a girl, so I understand that you're nervous, but there's no need to be, I don't bite, and I'm definitely not going to hypnotize you, I'll get off in a minute, I think this is good for you, you have to learn to get comfortable with a girl being right inside your personal space, although I will admit it's also partially because I like being on top of you, I told you I will get off when you relax, listen, don't focus so much on the fact that you're sharing a room with me, focus on what really matters, we're going hiking tomorrow, all of us together, I've been really looking forward to it, life is always so busy, but here, now, I can finally get away from it all, simply get up in the morning, have breakfast, put on my hiking shoes, and then just walk, I love hiking, it's so freeing, like nothing else matters when you're hiking, you can leave all your cares, all your worries behind, and live in the moment, you know what I'm talking about, don't you, just imagine it, putting one foot in front of the other, walking on and on and on, following the path wherever it leads, and there's always something to see, always something to hear, leaves rustling in the wind, a brook babbling close by, birds singing somewhere in a tree, and you can walk and walk and walk, take it all in, and relax, and then at the end of the day, when you're tired and sleepy, when your body feels so very heavy, you can get on your bed, and rest, and the mattress is so soft, so comfortable, it's like you can sink right down into the bed, and that feels so good, so right, doesn't it?
