This audio work, called "A Walk in the Sculpture Park," is created by artists Tua, Flut Marinas, and Ariadna Estalela-Alba. Despite being relatively unknown, their work is included in the Middle High Museum exhibition. The artists were told by the curator that their artwork should be invisible, so they created an audio with instructions for actions to be carried out while walking the path. By participating and giving visibility to their work, you enhance the experience and become a performer. However, it is up to you how much visibility you want to give. This audio is not just about helping the artists, but also about experiencing a magical mystery tour. It's now your turn to take part, Flut. Hello there, thanks for joining A Walk in the Sculpture Park. This audio work will take 20 minutes of your time, so let's get started right away. Why don't you start with a very gentle walk? You can walk clockwise or counterclockwise as you wish. As you walk, relax and let go of thinking and listen to my voice. Embrace the radical act of effortless listening. The artists that made this audio walk are called Tua and Flut Marinas and Ariadna Estalela-Alba. Chances are you've never heard of these three artists, right? No worries. This does not make you a total amateur. Not at all. Truth is, they are probably the least known artist in this entire exhibition and, thinking of it, that probably makes them the least known artists in the entire Middle High Museum. You might wonder then how the hell these folks got into this exposition at all. And you know what? Truth is that even these artists themselves don't really understand it. And what's even more, the artists started to have a feeling that also the curators of the show didn't have a clue anymore how come these three artists ended up in this exposition. This feeling got strengthened when the main curator of the show told the three artists, I think it's actually a really, really good idea that your work would be quite invisible. And then the curator also added, I mean, I think that suits your concept quite well, doesn't it? To have your work really, really quite invisible, this... So dear listener Tua, Flut and Ariadna felt like there was nothing else they could do but to agree with the curator to make a really invisible artwork. That felt like the only thing their status allowed them to do. This way they decided to make an audio with some instructions for actions you can do while walking this path. And they would like you to carry out these actions. You are the one who can give some visibility to their work. The more you take on the role of performer, the more you give visibility to the work of Flut, Tua and Ariadna. But you might be thinking, what if you don't really feel like helping these people? Maybe you don't know them, or maybe you know them but you don't like them, or you don't like me, or maybe you already help too many people and just want to relax a bit, or maybe you're not particularly interested in participatory art. Whatever it is, it's understandable. And of course, you're free to decide how much visibility you'd like to give to the instructions you're given. The thing is that this audio is not only about helping three unknown artists, but it's also an enhanced experience. A walk in the sculpture park is a magical mystery tour. So it's time you meet the artist. Roll up for the mystery tour. The magical mystery tour is waiting to take away. So it's now on you, Flut.
