Good morning, this is K-Beach 88 News at 10am and this is Anthony Rapp. Yesterday two people were caught trying to smuggle 100 pounds of marijuana worth over $300,000 into Los Angeles LAX airport. Security had suspicions about the passengers carrying on bags and searched them. There were several packages wrapped in birthday paper and when the boxes were opened the guards found the drugs. A raging wildfire in rural Northern California has spread over 5 square miles and forced evacuation of 200 homes in Napa County but is not threatening any major vineyards. More than 1,000 firefighters were hoping to get it better handled today on the fire in remote Polk Valley. No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is unknown. A chaotic scene broke out at a party off Key Biscayne, Florida after a number of people became ill. Officers say there were at least 20 rescues reported at the scene. Ambulances lined the road as paramedics loaded one person after another onto stretchers. It appeared that most people were suffering from alcohol and drug overuse. Police say a number of those taken to the hospital were minors. The death toll in India from a building collapse continues to climb. With more victims trapped in the rubble, a crumbling 4-story building in New Delhi toppled over Saturday. 10 people including 5 children and 3 women died. Officials suspect construction work at an adjoining building could be to blame. The collapse came during heavy rains which could also be a factor in the tragedy. Animal prints can be wild, but a zoo in England is calling them dangerous. A safari park has banned visitors from wearing animal print clothing to avoid confusing and scaring the animals. Zoo officials had noticed a behavior change in the animals after a group of people wearing animal prints drove near them so for safety reasons all forms of animal print clothing are no longer allowed at that park.
