Case closed. The end. No chance for me to ever leave this prison of my sins. Now I know it might sound crazy, but one day a key unlocked that cell. I heard a small voice say, your death's been paid by somebody else. And now I'm walking, walking, walking free. Lord, I come before you today and lift up each and every person listening, Lord. I ask that you open their ears, their hearts, and their minds, Lord. I'd like to give you praise, give you glory, and thanks, because without you, none of this would be possible. And I pray all of this in Jesus' name. Amen. Hey there, it's Ana with God's Podcast. I hope that you're all having a wonderful week and that it continues that way. And in today's episode, I want to talk about how it is so hard to move forward, but we just need to move. You cannot stand still this year. You cannot do the same things this year and think you're going to get new results. You need to move. You need to change your way of thinking, your view. You cannot stay stagnant and think your life in 2024 is going to change. And if you continue to do the same old routine, you will have the same results. Just like trying to get healthy, you want to lose weight. You want to change your body. You have to work to do it. It's not going to work or happen if you don't put in the work. The same goes with your relationship with God. You have to put in the work. No one can do it for you. In a previous episode called Discipline, I talked about Tom Brady, who was interviewed by Patrick Beck-David. And if you haven't listened to that episode, I highly recommend you go back and listen, because you need discipline if you want to see change in your life. But you also need to want to change. We tend, as humans, to stay right where we are because it is comfortable, because it is familiar, because it is safe. And I'm going to say no. Get out of that mindset. Get uncomfortable. Get unfamiliar. And get unsafe to get discipline. Change your mindset. Because my friend, my brother, my sister, it will change your life. It will be the best decision you will ever make in your life. It will be the best first step to a changed, unstagnant, unstuck life. I want to give you a couple ideas how to start this. Wake up 10 minutes early and start with a prayer for about one minute before your feet hit the ground. Say a quick prayer of thankfulness and ask God to protect, guide, and use you and show up in your day. Then read the verse of the day from the Bible app and try the guided Bible study that takes about 4 to 5 minutes. Next, read a chapter in the Bible and take a couple minutes journaling what you took from it or just the gratitude about God and what he has done in your life. Do this for at least 30 days. See where it takes you. If you can't get up early, take 10 minutes before bed. Make the time. It's only 10 minutes. Those 10 minutes will change your life. Think of it as self-care. Think of this as you doing something for yourself. It doesn't matter where you are or what you are doing. Take the time for yourself. And if you want to go deeper and challenge yourself even more, start a prayer board. It can be simple or if you're crafty, make a cute one. Get a board. Get 30 or 31 envelopes depending on the month and write yourself a verse, a note, or just something you're thanking God for, for that day. Then put the note in the envelope for the day and go through until the month is over. Once the month is done, read through each envelope and see where you're at, where God has showed up, what you went through, what has changed, and what you needed to be reminded of. If you can't do that, I have another suggestion. Make it simple and write one thing down in a notebook and do the same process. You will see where and how God showed up. I promise you by the end of the month, you will see change. You will see growth and what God wants you to see. Giving time to God and yourself will help you change, help you get unstuck, get you disciplined. God loves you and wants to set you free. Don't you want that? Don't you want to feel free, loved, worthy, changed, renewed? Just like in the Bible, God talks about this in Exodus. He set his people free. What is holding you back? What is stopping you from moving forward? Is it fear? Is it you being scared or thinking you are unworthy? If so, that is Satan planting that into you. That is not from God. And I'm going to tell you, do not fear because you are what Satan wants. You are exactly what he wants to conquer because he knows. He knows you are chosen. He knows you are special because the enemy knows you are at the verge of a breakthrough, that you are right about to step in the door God has for you. The enemy will do everything and anything to get you to not pass through that door God has opened for you. And I'm telling you, you got this. You can do this. Be strong. Be disciplined. Get unstuck. Get unstagnant. Break through that door this year of 2024 and get right with God and give him your time as well as yourself. You deserve it. You are worthy of it. God will get all the glory for your story where he has set you free. Your story will have purpose and it will be for God's kingdom. Allow yourself to be set free today. The first step in this journey begins with you. Take it. Get up and start moving. You got this. If you feel like you need a nudge, you need to be held accountable, I am more than willing to help you. Reach out. I am here. I really hope you enjoyed today's episode. I appreciate all of you and love you for taking the time to listen to support God's word. I am only his vessel, his instrument. So go back to his word, the Bible, and get discernment from him. Until next episode, keep bibling, keep spreading God's word, and give God and yourself the time. Please share this word with someone who you feel needs God because we all need God. And I just want to remind you, I put Bible verses down below so that you can go back to the Bible and get discernment from God. Keep moving forward. There are so many verses in the Bible for God's glory and to move forward. I want to give you an example. Exodus talks about this. Read it. He will set you free. Thank you so much again for listening. Lord, I lift each and every person up to you. Whatever they may be going through, whatever season they may be in, Lord, I lift them up to you and I ask you to walk with them, to guide them, to give them the understanding, the wisdom. Teach them, Lord. Allow them to know what they are learning from you in this season. I want to thank you, Lord. I want to give you glory because, God, you are an amazing God and you hear our prayers. And where two or more are gathered, you are more likely to hear us. And I pray all of this in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.
