Social media can be beneficial for students as it allows them to communicate with friends and family, conduct research, and access information related to their studies. Social studies is particularly suited for the use of social media programs as it encourages students to share their experiences, ideas, and creativity. Programs like Wikipedia provide helpful resources, including images, blogs, and articles, that assist with learning. An experience that I've had while using social media is being able to communicate with my friends and family, also for research purposes. I believe that social media programs can help students in their learning environment by allowing them to learn, discuss, share feedback, and have access to information pertaining to what they may be learning. The question that I think is most suitable for the use of social media programs is social studies. These programs should be available for use in the classroom because they reassure students to display and share their own experiences, their ideas, and creativity. It also encourages them to interact with one another, which can help them stay engaged. The program that I use on a daily basis is Wikipedia, and it is helpful in looking for resources that will assist while providing information that I may be interested in learning throughout my day. It also provides images, blogs, and articles.
