I'm a current student at the University of Wilmington studying in EDN 303. Today I'm going to talk about the following standard, SD16C, while integrating that into the state standard, RL23, and how to assess and document your students' learning. Throughout this episode, I'm going to go through the document student's work, how to document student's work, and how to assess your students while implementing technology standard, SD16C, into the classroom with the state standard, RL23. Documenting student's work technology with technology is very simple. Most sites teachers use, things like Google Slides, as I mentioned before, are automatically saved into the student's Google Drive. The students can easily send the teacher a link to their project and you can view the student's work. From there, the teacher can make notes on the document, assessing the students in their progress. Things like creativity and understanding of the content can be assessed by doing these things. Today, I talked about integrating technology and how to document your students' work. This is the last episode of Teacher Podcast. I hope you enjoyed learning from us. Bye. Hi there. My name is Ashley Swisher-Arnold and I'm a current student in EDN 413 through the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Today, I'm going to be discussing information about integrating arts into the classroom. I'm going to talk about the standard THPR412B. This standard states, alter voice and body to expand and articulate nuances of a character in a guided drama experience. I'm also going to talk about how to implement this into the following second grade North Carolina State Standard Language Arts Standard, RL2.3, Identify the Actions of Characters in a Story. Through this episode of Teacher Podcast, I'll go through how to document student work and how to assess students while implementing the arts standard THPR412B into the classroom with the North Carolina State Standard RL2.3. Documenting student work can look like several things, but the ones that make sense that I previously discussed drama standard of acting out the life cycle of a butterfly could include using photos or videos of student work process, teacher observation notes, exit slips, and written peer or self-critiques. From there, you could use several of the previous items to document towards assessment as well to include video of the improvised drama play where students act out the life cycle of a butterfly, including changing their voice throughout the stages, verbal peer feedback, and self-assessment while watching a video playback. Today, I took the time to talk about integrating arts and how to document student work and assess them in a classroom with the previously mentioned standards. This is our final episode of Teacher Podcast. I really hope you enjoyed learning from us because I know that I enjoyed teaching you. Today, I'm citing Integrated with Arts Across the Content Areas by Lisa Donovan and Louise Pesquel. Thanks for tuning in, guys. For Teacher Podcast, Peyton Bruce edited episodes one and two.
