Welcome: Online Presence

Hi guys, my name is Alex, I am starting a podcast today, it's what the cool kids are doing so I decided I'd hop on the train and just start a podcast and so you know I'm gonna do podcasting, I'm gonna be yapping, I'm gonna be diving deep into stuff, but yeah guys I'm so excited to share with you guys this new podcast that you know just came out of the blue, so you know stay tuned and let's get started. So today we're talking about assessing your profile, assessing your professional online presence, you know it's very important to be aware of how you present yourself you know not just in person but you know on internet, on social media, so today we're gonna just look at you know you guys are gonna go on this little journey with me you know gonna look at our different social media platforms, you know to me I only have, I only really use Instagram and I don't really post a whole lot so there wasn't a whole lot to me for me to look into and analyze but something I definitely do need to improve on is posting more you know sharing who I am, sharing my likes, my dislikes, you know sharing positive messages, sharing encouragement you know those kinds of things but interestingly enough I did search myself up on the internet just because I was like you know might as well just see what kind of websites I'm on and I actually appeared in two websites. I'm kind of proud and kind of happy that my academics are good because I was presented in my school's district board meeting so my name's on there for good grades and also I'm on a community college graduation list because I graduated from community college last year so that's pretty cool that I'm on a couple websites but I was not on any images sadly enough but one day hopefully I will be on there for being a professional soccer player or being a professional social worker so one or the other both pretty good things but I mean what else can I share with you guys there's so much to share but I don't want to get too carried away but just some food for thought what is your podcast looking like what is not your podcast what is your social media looking like are you doing good things or are you saying bad things are you being positive are you being negative and you know what I think I know what I want to name this podcast I think I want to name it I have a question because I always have questions and that's how I initiate a lot of my conversations professionally hey I have a question hey I have something I have something I want to ask you know so yeah that's there's so much to talk about but you guys are busy people you guys are you guys and girls are doing great things out there I know y'all are keep doing keep doing keep doing good stuff keep doing good stuff you guys are you guys are killing it but yeah guys I hope you guys tune in for next week's episode we're gonna keep talking about professionalism in the workplace and hopefully improve our professionalism in all types of areas in our in our day-to-day in our meetings in our interactions in our social media their families our friends yeah everyone take care I'm wishing everyone lots and lots of blessings and lots of lots of good things in the future so I'll see you guys next time
