Nothing to say, yet
Del, short for Delmont, meets Alex Pena and they have a conversation. Del talks about his ex-girlfriend Lisa, who he had a tradition with on her birthday. They used to make wishes while blowing out the candles on her cake. One year, Lisa wished she didn't have cancer, and she eventually recovered. However, she decided she didn't want to be with Del anymore. Del suspects she wanted a house in Tuscany more than him. Del asks Alex to join him in the dining car and mentions that he heard her call him handsome. Alex Pena reading for the role of Del. Didn't your mom tell you it's not polite to stare at strangers? Delmont. But everybody calls me Del. Where are you headed? You're not sure? So he wasn't a total jerk. Her name was Lisa. We met in college. She was smart, beautiful, and possibly sweet and kind. She even apologized for my mistakes. We had this little tradition. On her birthday, we'd take turns blowing out the candles on her cake one by one. She'd say, I wish for a house in Tuscany. And I'd say, I wish the Vikings would win the Super Bowl. One year, she said, I wish I didn't have cancer. Nah, it's okay. She's okay, actually. When she fully recovered, she said, I don't really want us anymore. I think she wanted a house in Tuscany more than me. Now, I was actually on my way back to the dining car. Care to join me? So back there, did I hear you say you thought I was handsome?
