Oral communication is the use of spoken words to convey messages. It is important in both personal and professional settings and allows for immediate feedback. It is used in various situations such as with family, friends, in meetings, and over the phone. Good oral communication skills include speaking with clarity and volume to ensure that ideas are effectively communicated. What is oral communication, you may ask. Oral communication is the form of verbal communication which conveys the message from the sender to the receiver through the stated word. In other words, communication with the help of spoken words is called oral communication. It is essential at every stage of our social and business dealings. As the famous oral communicator once said, oral communication is a two-way process as it provides a clear insight about the meaning to the message and the message transmitted and the feedback is immediate. We communicate orally with our family, friends, in meetings, committees, conferences, over the telephone, radio, public, etc. It is a valuable skill, whether personal or professional, to be able to speak with good volume, articulation, vocal variety, and the intention to truly get one's ideas heard.
