Prime Day Done

The unofficial shopping holiday extravaganza when we spend maybe a little bit more than we should but we justify it because we've been paying our membership dues all year long to save a couple dollars. It's your exclusive opportunity to buy something that maybe we couldn't otherwise afford to buy or maybe even just save a couple dollars. Credit card companies are popping bottles of champagne and they're sure to send one to the billion-dollar bully Bezos. Maybe it might even be maybe a little bit of a kickback hmm but our backdoor deals leaving the rest of us to deal with the aftermath of Prime Day scams, counterfeit products, damaged and leaking and late packages, laughable and ignored OSHA violations including a Prime Day death of 42-year-old Rafael Frias in a sweltering hot Amazon warehouse in New Jersey on Prime Day 2022. And I have a question, are you sure you're getting the lowest price? Take a listen to this. That was an actual seller on Amazon that was explaining they had to raise their fees but if they don't raise them on other platforms then Amazon will drop them from the platform. I thought that's what a monopoly was but Amazon disagrees. But the thing is this is all nothing new. It's clear we know that Amazon runs its business like a monopoly. We know about the labor violations. We know that they really don't care about the law. People have turned a blind eye and I wonder why. This is why I'm asking you. After two and a half years on the inside I almost feel traumatized like I have PTSD or something. In full disclosure I have been in therapy since the loss of my son in 2016 so I know what PTSD feels like. When you're on the inside, especially if you drink the Kool-Aid, it's a completely different culture and there are so many stories I can't wait to share with you.
