This piece started off with the simple motif on the cello, originally played on the piano, when my friend Finn was around and lamenting about how his life is just throwing him curveball after curveball. When he went home I took this new motif and made a whole piece out of it. It has taken a couple months of leaving it and picking it up again, but I think I might as well show people now, as I think it's the best it'll be for a while.* *this started off when I knew less about string composition
