Bandura's social learning theory suggests that people can learn new behaviors by observing others. This process involves paying attention, remembering, imitating, and being motivated. When individuals see someone being rewarded or punished for a behavior, it influences their own likelihood of doing the same thing. And this led to Bandura's social learning theory. It posits that individuals can learn new behaviours by watching others. This process involves attention, retention, reproduction and motivation. Vicarious reinforcement occurs when individuals observe a model being rewarded or punished for a behaviour. This influences the observer's likelihood of performing the same behaviour.
