We are Ambassadors, friends of all the crowd, we are Ambassadors, from the heart to the heart, you're the grateful one, we're gonna give one body, one spirit, we are Ambassadors, United in His love, we are Ambassadors, friends of all the crowd, we are Ambassadors, from the heart to the heart, you're the grateful one, we're gonna give one body, one spirit, we are Ambassadors, United in His love, we are Ambassadors, United in His love, we are Ambassadors, United in His love, we are Ambassadors. We give you praise, we give you glory. Ah, take preeminence in everything we do, in everything we hear, even in this moment. Let your word come forth from the throne of grace. Let every heart be blessed. Use me but as a vessel unto your people. Your name and your name only be glorified. In Jesus' precious name we pray. God bless you, please be seated. Genesis chapter one, we go back to the beginning from verse one. Genesis chapter one. In the beginning God, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Verse two, the earth was without form, that means the earth was shapeless, and it was void, meaning it was empty. It didn't have any shape, it was empty, completely empty, no shape. And darkness was on the face of the deep, and then the Spirit of the Lord was hovering over the face of the waters. Verse three, then God said, let there be light, and there was light. My prayer is that we get this as the Lord gave it to me. Hallelujah. Let there be light, and there was light. Ephesians chapter five, Ephesians chapter five, Ephesians chapter five. Verse eleven, it says, and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatsoever makes manifest is light. Hallelujah. I just want in the next few moments to use as a subject, overcoming darkness. Overcoming darkness. As we know, darkness is symbolic of a state of chaos, a state of disorder, a state of misery, a state of the unknown. When we talk about darkness, it is a state that you actually do not see yourself clearly, let alone see someone else. Darkness is symbolic of an environment where the works of the flesh is easily made manifest. That is darkness. So you now see why talking about darkness is not always fancy. When we say darkness, nobody wants to talk about it. This is probably because as human beings, we are more vulnerable when it is dark. More vulnerable because we were not created to live in darkness. We were created to live in light. That's why even for those of us who walk at night, when it is dark, your body tells you something. That even though your manager is telling you to stay awake, sometimes, just maybe sometimes, and even sometimes as believers when we wake up 3am to pray, your body is telling you something. And so we were created to live in the light. However, insofar as we live on this side of heaven, day and night shall never cease. So we will face dark hours, dark moments in our lives from time to time. And that vulnerability from the attacks of the enemy when it is dark, they will come from time to time. But somebody says we overcome. Do you know the devil and his demons often use the dark spot in your life, the dark spot on your mind, to accuse you that you are not enough. To accuse you of your past. To tell you that you have no hope. The dark moments of your life are the times when the enemy shows up to convince you otherwise. That is why darkness should not be named among us. Hallelujah. He will come and say to you, when you are at your lowest point, when you are at your vulnerable moment, when darkness is all around you and you cannot see your way clearly, he will come around and say there is no chance of victory for you. So darkness is a cover that the enemy uses to operate. No wonder witches and wizards like to operate in darkness. Oh glory. But today, no matter the level of darkness over your family, in the name of Jesus we declare that darkness will be exposed by the light of God. Every darkness that may be masquerading as light over your household, today we declare an exposure to the light. The light of God will shine through every darkness in your body in the name of Jesus. Anything that the enemy is using to distract you from the purpose for which God has created you and has called you, tonight we pray it will be exposed in Jesus' name. So it is not always fancy to talk about darkness. And even those who love to operate in darkness will rather not talk about their operations. They will operate in the dark and when they break, they talk about wonderful things in the day. Not about those things that they do in the dark. Hallelujah. But there has never been a time not to trust God for overcoming darkness. Because in case you have not noticed, we live in the last of the last days. And I use the phrase the last of the last days because somebody recently said to me, but you know this gospel has been preached for 2,000 years and from the beginning, even the early apostles were saying Jesus is coming soon. And I was like, well it's actually 2,024 years and you will never know, he might come by the end of 24 or 25 or 28 or 30. The hour no man knows. But we've got to be ready. Hallelujah. We've got to be ready. Because even though our experiences may differ, one thing that is common to all of us is that everyone will recognize it when it is dark. When you face a dark moment in your life, when it seems as if all hell has broken loose. When you cannot see your way clearly. You want to advance in life but it doesn't seem there is no way for you. You want to make ends meet but it seems that your best effort is not making any headway. When darkness shows up at your door, you will know it by yourself. And so 1 John 1 verse 5 says, God is light and in him there is no darkness at all. He is light and in him there is no darkness at all. So therefore, if you are a child of God, then you are a child of the light. In you there should be no darkness. Somebody say, I overcome it. Somebody say, I overcome it. 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 5 says, We are sons of light and sons of the day. Do you now see? We are not of the night nor of darkness. We are children of the light. We are not children of darkness. In other words, when darkness comes knocking at your door, you recognize it because you are a child of light. And if you are a child of light, then darkness is unnatural to you. Hallelujah. So we cannot call ourselves children of God and we are still operating in darkness. Remember, operating in darkness is not only when you change as a witch. At night you change to aeroplane and then in the morning you change to another human being. Every walk of the flesh is darkness. Hallelujah. And so when we begin to operate in darkness, we are operating out of our natural zone that God has given us. You are operating in another realm. Why? Because we are children of light and children of the day. So if you like operating in the dark or you like operating in the secret and you don't want anybody to know, see somebody will come and say, I'm going to tell you something. But please, when I tell you, it must remain between the two of us. Open your ears very well because when they tell you, it is probably a secret that you need to keep. And if it is a secret, so if you say, but if you tell me this, should I go and tell the person that you are telling me about? No, no, no, no. And so when we operate like that in secret, it tells us that the life we live is not necessarily the life that Christ came to give us. Because we are children of the light and children of the day. So everything we do should be open, we should be open book. That husband and wife can be in the same house, in a relationship, in marriage for 10-15 years and they are still keeping secrets. That we can be in the same arena and we are still holding secrets one to another. That is darkness operating. Somebody say we are overcoming today. So to operate in darkness is to be a child of darkness instead of a child of light. To entertain darkness. Sometimes it is not only about operating in darkness. Sometimes it is even about entertaining it or negotiating with darkness. To do so is to step out from the realm of the light into the realm of darkness. May it not be named among us in Jesus' name. Because our experiences with the light should teach us that no one operates in darkness perpetually. Because when the light is shone upon darkness, the darkness has to disappear. So darkness is temporary. It is temporary. No matter how the game is right now, operating in darkness might bring some gain. But no matter how much the game is right now, it is temporary. Hallelujah. And so Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12 tells us that we do not wrestle with flesh and blood. We wrestle with principalities, with powers, with rulers of darkness in high places. And so for us to overcome, we have to overcome darkness. In the name of Jesus, by His power and grace, you shall expose and overcome every darkness in your family. The next time the enemy shows up to look for a dark spot in your life, he will find nothing. In the name of Jesus. This is what I believe the Lord is saying. And this is just part one. Because there is so much that we can learn from this. And so since we wrestle against rulers of darkness of this world, the point of this message is that you should neither ignore darkness, nor run away from it. You should neither ignore it, nor run away from it. Because the longer you ignore it, the more it keeps coming. And if you are running away from it, then you have not dealt with it. Hallelujah. And so the mandate that we have as children of light is to overcome darkness. Somebody say we overcome. And we will see how God gives us the formula. How He gives us the example. Because when you study the history of creation in Genesis chapter 1, darkness was not the first issue that God encountered. Do you see that? In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. In verse 2, He says the earth was without form. Number 1, the earth was shapeless. God could have dealt with the shape in the first instance. But He didn't. Number 2, the Bible says the earth was void, it was empty. God could have filled the emptiness in the second instance. But He didn't. Number 3, He says the earth was dark. Darkness was on the face of the deep. So number 1, the earth did not have any shape. Number 2, the earth was empty. And number 3, the earth was dark. And in all of this, the Spirit of God is hovering over the face of the waters. So what did God do? He shows us here in Genesis chapter 1 verse 2 and verse 3 that the best time to shape anything is in the light. That you cannot deal with the shape of a thing when it is dark. Oh glory to God. That we must understand the ways of God. Don't try to fill a void in the midst of darkness. It's a waste of time. Oh so glory. Do you know, have you ever tried to look at yourself in the mirror when it is dark? Like you walk into your bedroom and you turn off the light and it's pitch dark. And you try to look at yourself in the mirror. Who do you see in that mirror? Anyone to shape yourself in the dark? Ha ha. How about trying to fill an empty bottle with perfume in the dark? Like it's dark and you're trying to fill that bottle. The bottle is empty and you truly want to fill the bottle but it is dark. How does that work? Have you tried that before? How about trying to look for your lost car key in the dark? Do you try that? No. You turn on the light first and then in the rays of the light you look for what is lost. Oh glory to God. And so in verse 3, God ignores the shape. The earth was without shape. God ignores the void. The earth was empty. There was nothing there. Just for a moment. Because God is teaching us that the best way for you to shape anything is to shine the light on that thing. And then you can see what is shaping. Oh glory to God. Thank you Jesus. So because until now, day time was non-existent. And so God needed day time in order to teach us something. Because one of the issues with the church today is that we are praying so hard to reshape men without first dealing with the darkness in the hearts of men. We are working so hard to fill the void of this world without first having to deal with the darkness in the world. We pray so hard to change our shape and change our lives without first having to deal with the darkness that is in our lives. We say Lord transform my family, shape my family, shape my household and we ignore the darkness in the household. How would you shape? Listen, God is teaching us here a lesson. Because no matter how beautiful your shape is, nobody will see your shape in the dark. Oh glory to God. That you are, you know, beautifying yourself. And by the way, if you put on your makeup and your lipstick in the dark, how would that look like? Or you have your best hair stylist and the hair stylist comes and says, now I'm going to do your hair in the dark. Oh glory to God. And so God is showing us a way of dealing with darkness first and foremost. And so God decided to address the darkness that was obscuring the shape and the void. He decided to deal with the darkness first because after darkness, no matter how, you will see the shape and you will deal with it. God understands everything. And so what is written is for you and I to learn the principles that we ought to live our lives by. Are we following this? So in Genesis chapter 1 verse 3, God says, let there be light. Let there be light. I declare by the word of the Lord today. Every darkness in your house, let there be light. In the name of Jesus. I declare to every darkness in your body, let there be light. To every darkness around your children, around your career, we declare by the word of the Lord, let there be light. And there was light. And then in verses 4 to 5, the Bible says God saw that the light was good. Oh glory to God. So God sees that the light is good. It was only after exposing the darkness to light that God went on to start dealing with the shape. After exposing, because whenever darkness is exposed to the light, darkness has got to go. So don't tell me that you are Christ who is the light and he calls you sons and daughters of the light. And yet, darkness is operating all over you and all around you. It must not happen. Because when darkness comes, the light of God that is in you has got to expose it. And once darkness is exposed to the light, darkness has got to disappear. So now, darkness is gone. Hallelujah. And so in Genesis chapter 1 from verses 6 to 10, God began to deal with the shape. God said, let there be a firmament. God is now shaping things. Because now he is showing us that when it is bright and beautiful, you can see where the firmament is supposed to be. You can see. If you walk into your living room and it is dark, even though you designed the living room and you know by memory where your center table is, where your sofa is, if it is dark, if care is not taken, you are walking through the living room, you might hit your foot against something. Hallelujah. But when you expose that darkness to light, now you can see your way clearly. You can even move things around. You can reshape your living room. Why? Because you can see clearly. Now God begins to shape the firmament. He says, let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters and let it divide the waters from the waters. So now God is putting the shape together. God is taking it somewhere. In verse 8, God divides the waters from under the heavens and waters from above the firmament. By the way, when he created the firmament, he called it heaven. Hallelujah. He called it heaven. And so God divided the waters from under the heavens and the waters from above it. And then in verse 9, God gathers the waters under heaven and then he calls forth dry land to appear. God is dealing with the shape. In life, because evening and morning came the first day when God said, let there be light. So now in broad daylight, God is dealing with the shape. Listen. Don't ever try to shape something in darkness. You are trying to advance your Christian life when there is darkness all over you. Deal with the darkness first. Deal with the works of the flesh first. Deal with those issues that trigger you. And when that is done, you can shape your life. You can shape your ministry. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. One of the things that reminds us that we are called to this thing is when you stand and you lift up your hands. Even though we stand condemned except by the grace of God and the works of the cross. And yet we lift up holy hands and say, Lord, my hands are clean. Not because I am clean, but because he is clean. Hallelujah. Not because I am shining, but because his light is shining through me. Praise God. And so God begins to shape the earth. In verse 10, he called the dry land earth. And then he called the gathering of the waters, the sea. So you see how God is putting the shape together. We are still in day one. Hallelujah. And so now the shape of the earth is in order. Then God began to deal with the emptiness. From the beginning, God knew the shape needed fixing. From verse 1, God knew the emptiness needed taking care of. And yet he decided light must shine forth. Now if you study Genesis very well, you will realize that light, let there be light, came before the sun and the moon were created. Hallelujah. So the light of God is not dependent on the sun and the moon. I hope you got that. The light of God will shine in you and through you in the thickest darkness. That you be in the midst of trial and yet the light of God is shining in you. That you be in the midst of the unknown. You don't know where you are going next and yet the light of God is shining in you. This is what keeps us going. Hallelujah. May we shine that light everywhere we go. In the mighty name of Jesus. So from verse 11 way down to verse 27, God began to fill the emptiness. The void. God began to call forth. He says, let there be heavens, let there be trees. He then creates the sun, he creates the moon and he gives them purples, each one of them. He creates the stars, he creates the birds, he creates the seas and the sea creatures and the land creatures. God is filling the void. He is filling the emptiness. Hallelujah. And then in verse 26, God is still dealing with the emptiness by the way. The trees are ready. The animals are ready. The sea creatures are ready. The land creatures are ready. Everything is ready. The land is ready. And God said, let us make man in our image. Because filling the land, the void that was there, man needed to be in that equation. Hallelujah. But do you know what we do? We want to fill the equation with man when it is dark. When you operate under the cover of darkness, whatever you increase is still dark. Deal with the darkness first. And when that darkness disappears, everything that is added is light unto light. May it be so in our life in the name of Jesus. So God is showing us a way here. When we encounter darkness, because all of us encounter it from time to time, as I said, oftentimes it's either we ignore it or we pretend it doesn't exist. God is God Almighty. He could have operated in darkness. There is no need for Him because He is light in Himself. Hallelujah. He could have done it, but He did what we ought to learn from. And so when you read scripture, it tells us that it is good for instruction. It is good for correction. Hallelujah. It is good for edification. It is good for edification. It is even good for rebuke. And so it is written so that we can learn from it. So we tend to ignore and pretend it doesn't exist and then we try to shape issues in the dark. Hallelujah. But when you begin to recognize that filling your void in the dark is adding darkness to darkness, as a child of God, the first thing you want to do is to shine the light on that thing. Hallelujah. So you have something that you are struggling with. Perhaps it is an attitude. Perhaps it is a habit. Perhaps it is a way of doing things. Perhaps it is prayerlessness. Perhaps you don't find time to read the wall. Perhaps you struggle to even connect with the church. Perhaps you struggle with your faith. All of those issues are dark spots in our lives. Don't try to fix your faith in the dark. Expose it to the light. How do we expose it to the light? Let there be light and there will be light. Hallelujah. So when I am struggling with my faith, I don't want to keep it inside. I will go to my wife and say, Honey, I think now we need to pray. Because I am struggling with this. Hallelujah. And one thing to share is not to broadcast to everybody. Don't say Pastor recommended that we go and broadcast this. But God will direct you to the right people. And when we do, expose it because an issue shared in the right atmosphere and in the right spirit solution comes from heaven. Hallelujah. And so now God deals. He begins to deal with the emptiness. Because if you begin to deal with the void even in your home. Like we used to have love in this home. But now love has disappeared. That's darkness that has come in. If you don't deal with that and try to put things on top of things, it will build up for a while. But it will come crashing down. Because the real darkness has not been taken care of. May God enlighten us today in Jesus name. So the moment you overcome darkness, you will see that the reason why we stumble a lot of the time is because darkness is lurking around us. That the reason why we flare up sometimes unnecessarily is because darkness is operating around us. The reason why we sometimes even want to fight is because darkness is operating. The reason why we don't want to listen is because darkness. That nobody tells me what to do. Nobody gives me instruction. And then when somebody tries to correct me, they say don't judge me. Wherever that terminology came from, it has filtered its way through the church. That nowadays we cannot tell anyone to do anything, you are judging them. And yet we want to make heaven. Yet we want the light of God to shine upon us. Yet we want to be that called, that called at once, that Christ has called us to be. But the moment you begin to shine the light, darkness has got to disappear. But if you try to reposition, as I said before, you walk into your living room and it's dark. And then you hit your foot against the stool and you try to reposition the stool in the darkness. When the light comes on, you may not like where the stool is standing. But if you shine the light first and then reposition your stool, you will put it in the best location. Sometimes you might even say, it is because this stool is here, that's why I hit my foot against it. Let me take it to another end. Hallelujah. Because now you can see. So consider what God did in Genesis chapter 1. God saw that the earth was formless. It was shapeless, number 1. It was empty, number 2. And it was dark, number 3. What did God do? He dealt with number 3 first. And then he came back to number 1. And then he ended up with number 2. Hallelujah. What do we do most of the time? We begin with number 1. God shaped me and you have not dealt with the darkness in your heart. God filled me with your spirit and you have not dealt with the darkness in your mind. God transformed my life and you have not dealt with number 3. You want number 2. You want God to anoint you and fill you up with the spirit. And you have not dealt with number 3 first and foremost. No, it doesn't work like that. Hallelujah. So let us deal with darkness. Let us deal with darkness. Somebody say we overcome it. Because if God is indeed our eternal example, why would you want to deal with anything in the dark? The reason why we are still praying, God shower us with your spirit, that we want to see the fruit of the spirit in our lives. And the spirit is saying, I am ready. The fruit is already in you and it's got to bear. It's got to grow. And yet, there is something that is obscuring the growth of that fruit. And that is darkness. Oh, hallelujah. That sometimes when I wake up and I really, really, humanly speaking, want to be angry, I very quickly go back to God. God, where is this coming from? How can I be angry and operate in the light? How can I be angry and operate in the light? How can I be thinking negative and operate in the light? How can the spirit of God operate in an atmosphere that there is gloominess and darkness and issues? Even between siblings, brothers and sisters. You know, one time Jesus said, if you come to the altar in order to give your offering, and remember that there is darkness between you and your brother, between you and your brother, paraphrasing here, that your brother has something against you, he said, leave your offering there, go and sort it out. Because you cannot be praising God when there is darkness in your heart. You cannot be lifting unholy hands when there is darkness in your heart. You cannot be shouting, hallelujah, when God knows, because he searches the heart and mind of his people. And so, we've got to deal with the darkness. God knew that the earth was without form. He knew he needed to deal with the shapes. He knew he needed to deal with the emptiness. And yet, he decided, let there be light, so. Let there be light. You know, many educated and experienced ministers will talk about the law of first mention. When you go back to scripture and you want to study scripture and understand the intended meaning of whatever is written, you go back to the beginning, wherever it was first mentioned. When I read this, I was like, my goodness, this is a pattern that God is setting up for us. And when you go to the New Testament, it is very clear. Don't fight with your shape when it is dark. Don't try to fill your emptiness in the midst of darkness. It is only in the light that transformation takes place. It is only in the light that fulfillment takes place. That you want to fill your life, God, that's why we've been praying for 10 years, God, fill me with the Holy Spirit. And then we get frustrated when we are not filled with the Holy Spirit. Because it says, darkness and light, what relationship do they have? When the true light comes in, darkness must disappear. But if darkness is still there, if I am always contending with the world, there is darkness somewhere. That I am finding ways to argue with the world so that I can please my flesh, there is darkness. If I am always agitated, if I am always agitated, there is darkness somewhere. Come on, we are dealing with human nature right now. If every time you speak to me, I am cross, there is darkness somewhere. If every time I go to work, I don't want to see certain people, there is darkness somewhere. You cannot be a child of God and operate like that. What are we showing to the world? If you are indeed children of the light, let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good work and praise your Father in heaven. But do you know what we want to do? We want to take our Father to the people. And we have darkness in our lives because our light is not shining. And when something happens at work, we will be the first people to speak. And when we speak, if there is another believer in that workplace, they wonder, is this person part of CSE? May it not be your case in Jesus' name. Because when we begin to recognize it, then we begin to operate in the light. Hallelujah. Because you can see how darkness and light cannot and must not dwell together. Once darkness is defeated, then you can see everything as they really are. And you can begin to shape it. Hallelujah. When I realize that sometimes the way I speak, or I used to speak, can be forceful, it can be haunting, even though in my heart I knew there is love. But then I can just, you know, we used to boast about it. Me, I call it spade a spade. I can just tell it as it is. I can just tell it as it is. As you grow older, God teaches you wisdom. You begin to learn. You begin to realize that there is a way that you can minister unto a life without destroying that life. Hallelujah. And so once darkness is defeated, ha, the light begins to shine. The shape begins to come together. The firmament is now established. The earth is established. The earth is taking shape. The seas are gathering together. The fishes are growing in the sea. The animals are coming onto the land. The trees, the herbs, and every living thing on the face of the earth. And then God says, let us get man in there. Hallelujah. This is the pieces of the puzzle concerning your life. That when darkness disappears, every other thing, we are trying to shape our future without first dealing with the darkness. We are trying to fix our relationship without first dealing with the darkness. And remember, darkness is symbolic of a state of disorder or confusion. It is a state of hopelessness. Hopelessness. When trust disappears from a relationship, darkness has just walked in. Hallelujah. And so let's work on our future together. We need to build this home. And yet you have not dealt with the darkness. But God shows us a formula here. Somebody say, I hear you. So in Ephesians chapter 5, what does it say? It says, have no fellowship with the unfruitful walks of darkness. Have no fellowship. How did God do it? God did not ignore the darkness. He did not pretend that it's not important. Because this is how we've been taught. You know, don't confess negatives. When it's dark, just say, ah, it's bright. When it's really, really bad, just say, it is good. And so sometimes you walk up to a brother and you say, brother, how are you? Oh, I am blessed. And he's okay. But when you miss that one that you know God may have anointed to bless you, don't go saying, I am blessed. Go saying, brother, I need help. Hallelujah. Because you know, sometimes, you remember the woman that the prophet prayed for and she had a son. And then the son died. And then the woman was called and was told, the son was with the father and when he died, he now said, hey, go and call her mother from the field. And then when the mother came, she was like, ah, let me go see the prophet. Go get me horses and chariots. And when the horses and chariots came, the husband sent a servant and said, go ask her, is everything okay with you? She said, it is well. And they were now told, when everything goes bad, just say it is well. And then when she gets close to the prophet, the prophet saw her from afar and the prophet said to his servant, he said, go and meet the woman and ask her, is everything okay with you? And when the servant of the prophet asked, he said, it is well. And we stopped there. It is well. But when she came to the prophet, do you know what she did? She now opened up. This darkness over my life must be dealt with. She said, man of God, I was not the one who told you to give me a son. But now my son is dead. What are we going to do about it? Hallelujah. Because when you get to that level where you understand, if anything is amiss in your life, do not try to pamper it or cover it. Deal with it. Because if you don't deal with it, then everything that you are building is on the shaky foundation. Hallelujah. So he says, do not have anything to do with the unfruitful works of darkness. Every work that is done in darkness, it may be pleasant for a time, but it is unfruitful. And so what he's saying, the way to overcome it is to what? Expose it. Somebody say expose it. He says you've got to expose it. He says you've got to expose it. Because when you expose it to the light, darkness disappears. Hallelujah. Darkness disappears. So when somebody comes and says, let us scheme together and steal something from our brother or from our father. You know, this used to happen many, many years ago. Sisters would come and say, hey, I know where daddy's money is. Let's just go and take it. Daddy will not know. There's plenty of money. By the way, this was a time when banks were nonexistent. And so daddy would keep his money underneath the pillow or underneath the mattress or in the drawer. And sometimes he would lose count. And then sister would come and say, let's take some of this money. Daddy will never know. The moment you expose and say, if you touch it, I'm going to tell daddy. What will happen? She will not touch it again. Hallelujah. And somebody comes and says, do you know what this brother did? This brother is this, this brother is that, and that brother is that. The moment you say, I am going to let this brother know. End of story. You have exposed darkness. It disappears and light shines. Hallelujah. So it says expose them. Why? Verse 12. Even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. So when you know that there is a dark spot in your life, when you know that there is an operation of darkness in your life, it is shameful to talk about them when things are done in secret. Hallelujah. When we understand messages like this, we live together in so much peace and harmony knowing that everything is in the open. Hallelujah. That husband and wife who walk home today fall down on their knees and on their faces and say, let us confess. Let us make things open. Oh glory to God. Somebody said the secret, we say when two come together they become one in marriage. He says the secret that are in marriages may not even exist between two best friends. Think about that for a minute. That we are all holding one secret from another. And we say we are in relationship. And we say we are brothers. If we now come to the church, hey, may God help us. He says it is shameful to begin to talk about those things which are done in the spirit. It is about the things which are exposed. Now I finish. The things which are exposed are made manifest by the light. So the way to overcome is to expose it to the light. Hallelujah. Now it is no longer secret because whatever is exposed to the light can be seen. Hallelujah. Whatever is said in the light can be heard. Whatever is done in the light can be experienced. Oh glory to God. It counts as darkness. Don't ignore it. Don't run away from it. Confront it. Expose it. And then you will overcome it. Not because we are smart or because we are wise but because we are sons and daughters of light. Stand to your feet and let us pray. Hallelujah. Thank you Jesus. As we prepare to pray this moment we are told there was a time when we were young they used to tell us stories about witches somewhere in the dark corners of Africa. They used to operate at night. Listen to this for those of you who don't have these experiences. They used to operate at night and then sometimes some of them because when they operate at night they have to be home before daybreak. Okay. Because light and darkness cannot dwell together. So the witches will now delay. Maybe their flight they miss their flight and then before they get home it's daylight and then they are not able to go back to their usual self and they are exposed. We used to hear those stories and then all of a sudden people will gather and say hey we have caught a witch today. Have you heard that before? When light comes ha listen do not fraternize with darkness. We are expected to overcome it. We expose it. We do not negotiate with darkness. We expose it. We overcome it. We do not operate in darkness. We are not sons and daughters of darkness. I pray for divine grace upon your life today that every walk of darkness in your home be exposed to the light of God. That every walk of darkness around your career be exposed to the light of God. Every walk of darkness in your life in your body be exposed to the light of God. In the name of Jesus. And by the grace of God next week we will look at how we overcome darkness in Christ. God bless you in Jesus name. Amen. God bless you. Amen. God bless you. Amen. God bless you. Amen. God bless you. Amen. God bless you. Amen. God bless you. Amen. God bless you. Amen. God bless you. Amen. God bless you. Amen. God bless you. Amen. God bless you. Amen. God bless you. Amen. God bless you. Amen.
