Our audio journey titled "The Existence of a Plastic Bag" begins with the distinctive sound of a plastic bag being unfolded. The sharp, crinkly noise fills the air, indicating that the bag is being opened and its previously compact form is now being expanded. Next, the audio takes a dramatic turn as you hear the harsh, abrupt sound of the plastic bag being torn. The sound is not continuous, signifying that the bag is being ripped apart piece by piece, not in one swift motion. The tearing of the bag evokes a sense of tension, as the once whole and useful object is now becoming fragments of its former self. This is followed by the somber, low sound of the torn pieces of the bag being stomped upon. The purposeful, rhythmic stomping creates a sense of finality, as if the bag's existence is being further diminished with each stomp.
