The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) enforces a liquid limit to enhance aviation security. Passengers are restricted to carrying liquids, gels, and aerosols in containers of 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) or less, all fitting into a quart-sized, clear, resealable bag. This regulation aims to prevent potential threats by limiting the quantity of liquids that can be brought onto aeroplanes.
