Hello, you're listening to Midnight Echoes on Resonance. I'm Ilya Vrokachevsky. In February of this year, I visited Lithuania for the first time. Vilnius is a lovely city and I met some great people who were involved in the experimental music scene there. For this show, I've put together a mix of contemporary Lithuanian artists who explore the liminal spaces between ambient music, sound art, and contemporary composition. Before we begin, I want to give a special thanks to Radvil Puividienie from the Music Information Centre Lithuania who suggested that I look up many of the artists featured here, and to David Ellis who encouraged me to undertake the trip in the first place.
