The book of Leviticus, a part of the Bible known as "Reina Valera," is a significant text in the religious scripture. It starts with the Israelites gathered at the base of Mount Sinai after the tabernacle has been filled with the glory of the Lord. In this book, God instructs Moses to guide the Levite priests and the people of Israel on various matters, including sacrifices, offerings, worship, the ordination of Aaron and his sons, ceremonial cleanliness, holy days and festivals, the Day of Atonement, and the Year of Jubilee. The central message conveyed is that God is holy and expects His people to be holy as well. The book also emphasizes God's grace by providing atonement for sins through the shedding of blood. It is believed that Moses, a revered figure, authored this book sometime after the establishment of the Law, around 1445 BC.
