Good morning, good morning. Good morning. Welcome everybody to Cowboy Church in Bowling County. We're glad you're here. Alright, if y'all need any help finding a seat, let me know. I'll get one of our own dutchers to assist you. I'm so glad you did that. Is there anybody here that's not ready to pray yet? Let me know. Alright. You know, 9 o'clock to 10 o'clock. Coffee, sweets and stuff and gossip, right? When we get close to 10 o'clock, we'll cut the gossip off. Somebody help that man find a seat. He looks like he's struggling. Dude, he's been lost a long time. No, I know he's saved. He's not lost. He's been getting something done out there, I can see that. Alright, let's pray. Dear Heavenly Father, we just thank You, Lord, for the blessings this day and each one that's here. Father, we ask You to bless Your Word this morning, Father. The worship, the praise, the singing. Father, we just ask that You heal those that are sick and struggling with bondage and addictions and things, Father. Lord, we pray for our community, for our church. We pray for our state. We pray for our nation, Father. Lord, there's a lot of stuff going on. I know You know all about it, Father. But we just pray, Father, that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Father, just guide us and direct us and bless us, Father. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Church says, Amen. Cowboy Church says, Yeah! And Deb says... Good morning, everyone. And I also want to say, I got word, that we are going to say good morning to the entire world because we are being listened to all over. So we better behave, huh? Yeah, you guys better behave. But, but, but what? And I'll have you know, I can reach that bell. Yes, ma'am. The top one? Sure, you just use the little thing down there and get the thing up there. I think you can reach the little thing down there. I bet they took the ladder out. Yeah, probably. They take my ladder all the time. And it has sheetrock mud all over it again. Who did that? I don't know either. And speaking of sheetrock mud, we will be working Tuesday? Yes. Thank you everyone who shows up to help. And yeah, there will be sheetrock mud on my ladder again. But that's okay. And Saturday morning at 9 o'clock, come out and come rope Moses, the mechanical steer. Right, Dewey? He had a buying moment. Boy, you are really rolling today. And also greeters, we'd like to have greeters out by the fence. And it doesn't necessarily mean you're going to be on a horse. But you can be standing, you can be on your bicycle, you can be on a four-wheeler if you bring it. Any of those. So see Dewey if you want to help him do that. And I have been asked by a couple of people that bring their service dogs into the church. And we all want to love on the dogs. But a service dog is not supposed to be loved on unless you ask the person if you can. So if you see a service dog on the side of the dog, don't touch it or anything unless you ask the owner. Okay? Yeah, any type of dog. Army dog. Army dog. Yeah. Coast Guard. Air Force. Air Force. Okay, Dewey. They carry chutes. They carry chutes. Oh, okay. So we can throw them off the top of the building. No, we wouldn't. And like Pastor said, our food bread ministry is here. They need everything to be gone. And they do need money to go and get their stuff. They need gas. So if you can help them out, there's two red buckets over there. Put that in there. Thank you, Uncle Fred. And Kathy and Mike. Kathy and Mike. And one other item. In the parking lot, please do not park double. Like, don't park right behind someone because if they don't see you, you might get ran over. Oh, he's got to speak up. I can't hear you. I can't hear you. Logs back. We got spotlights. Yeah, we have lights. And it's really nice because now I can actually see my notes. And they might be actually able to see the music. I don't know. That was my short joke. And if everyone could please, please, please, after, when you get ready to leave, if you can pick up your garbage and put it in the garbage can. We have several around. It just helps us to get out of here earlier. We don't have to clean the church up. And our food bread ministry. And please turn off your cell phones. And, or put them silent. Because if you don't, we're going to send Steve after you. You know what a meanie he is. Yeah, he's a real meanie. And there's announcements in your bulletin. Please read your bulletin. We do not pass the hat at Country Church, at Cowboy Church. We have birdhouses back on the table by Debbie. And whatever the Lord tells you to put in there, give us some money. Well, it's short and sweet, right? And blunt. And blunt. And we have white houses out the east door. And they're better than the ones in Washington, D.C., because... Ours is absolutely plush. That's right. If you want a name tag, we have a name tag. If you want a name tag, like... Anybody got your name tag on? Oh, Mike Steve. Steve Sandy. She has her hand raised back there. Which is the better half to Steve. And if your pet would happen to have an accident in the church, please pick up the mess. Or outside. Or outside, yes. And please go away from the doors when you take them out. So that we don't step in it and bring it back in. Yeah, I'll pick it up. It would be great. If you want to become a member, there's a sheet in the back by the birdhouses to sign. And pastor will let you know when his next class will be. And also, if you want to be baptized, there's also a sheet back there for that. And the other one that I had, someone tell me that... I know we have smokers in the church. And that's fine, but smoke away from the doors. And don't smoke in the bathrooms. It's not high school. There's a song about that, isn't there? About smoking in the bathrooms. Oh, just the boys. Yeah, they're the ones that would do it. The girls wouldn't do that. I didn't either. Oh, the girls don't smoke. Not in my school. I don't know what school you must be in, but... Okay, you guys ready to do Dual Order? Huh? You ready to do Dual Order? No. No? Oh, you're not going to do Dual Order? Yeah. Oh. I want to thank everybody for working Tuesday. We got a lot of stuff done, so... And we'd like to sing happy birthday to people that tell me it's their birthday, but I've been told that I forget people. If I said happy birthday to so-and-so, it would be to January, so... Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to January. Happy birthday to you. That should include everybody. And many more. Do we have any Dual Orders? Dual Orders. Dual Orders. Dual Orders. Dual Orders. Dual Orders. Dual Orders. There we go. Thank you. Okay. I've got a home in glory land that I'll shine the sun. I've got a home in glory land that I'll shine the sun. Way beyond the blue. New glory, oh new glory, do you remember me? New glory, oh new glory, do you remember me? New glory, oh new glory, do you remember me? Way beyond the blue. I took Jesus as my Savior, you take Him too. I took Jesus as my Savior, you take Him too. I took Jesus as my Savior, you take Him too. Way beyond the blue. Dual Order, Dual Order, do you remember me? Dual Order, Dual Order, do you remember me? Dual Order, Dual Order, do you remember me? Way beyond the blue. If you can't bear the cross, you can't wear the crown. If you can't bear the cross, you can't wear the crown. If you can't bear the cross, you can't wear the crown. Way beyond the blue. Dual Order, Dual Order, do you remember me? New glory, oh new glory, do you remember me? New glory, oh new glory, do you remember me? Way beyond the blue. This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine. Oh, this little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine. This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine. Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine. Thank you, Dual Order. We've been Dual Ordered. We've been Dual Ordered. We've been Dual Ordered. Properly. Properly Dual Ordered. Oh Lord, my God. When I am lost and wandered, consider all the worlds I have been. I see the stars. I hear the rolling thunder. Point you out, the universe displays. Then sing my song, my Savior God to Thee. How great Thou art. How great Thou art. I will sing my song, my Savior God to Thee. How great Thou art. How great Thou art. And when I think that God is on my spirit, Set in dying, and scarce can figure you, That on the cross, mother and gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin. Then sing my song, my Savior God to Thee. How great Thou art. How great Thou art. Then sing my song, my Savior God to Thee. How great Thou art. How great Thou art. When Christ shall come, with soul of adoration, And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart. When I shall know, in humble adoration, And there proclaim, my God, how great Thou art. Then sing my song, my Savior God to Thee. How great Thou art. How great Thou art. Then sing my song, my Savior God to Thee. How great Thou art. How great Thou art. How great Thou art. How great Thou art. How great Thou art. Next one's in the book, if you want to follow along. God is good, all the time. He put a song of praise in His heart of mind. God is good, all the time. Through the darkest night, His light will shine. God is good. God is good, all the time. God is good, all the time. He put a song of praise in His heart of mind. God is good, all the time. Through the darkest night, His light will shine. God is good. God is good, all the time. When you're walking through the valley, And there's shadows all around, Do not fear, He will guide you. He will keep you safe and sound. He has promised to never leave you, Nor forsake you, and His word is true. God is good, all the time. Through the darkest night, His light will shine. God is good, all the time. He put a song of praise in His heart of mind. God is good. God is good, all the time. We were sinners and so unworthy, Yet for us He chose to guide. Filled us with His Holy Spirit, Now we can stand and testify That His promise is everlasting, And His mercies, they will never end. God is good, all the time. He put a song of praise in His heart of mind. God is good, all the time. Through the darkest night, His light will shine. God is good. God is good. God is good. He is so good. God is good. God is good. All the time. God is good, all the time. Let's hear it for the Cowboy Band! I've been sabotaging the throne up here. Little wranglers, man, immediately jump up, head for that west door. Little wranglers, head them out the west door. There you go. Any youngins want to go, you're welcome to go. Reading the Bible. Twelve years I've been saying, Fred, you can't go, but he's working today, over there. Fred's going to get it done. He can read? He can read? Alright. Yeah, when we first started having Bible studies over at Fred and Kathy's house, and Fred and Kathy first got turned on to the Bible, I'd get phone calls at 4.30 in the morning, 5 o'clock in the morning. I was just reading this. Could you tell me what this means? Yeah, I can tell you, Fred. I didn't get you up or anything, did I? Not yet. Alright. Lots of stuff going on around the world today, isn't there? This morning, what I want to talk about, is greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Where's honey? Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Stack, stack, stack, no. Oh, honey. Honey's the last thing I'll do, but we've got a soprano over there. Alright. Oh, Cowboy Church. You know, you hear strange sounds in Cowboy Church. Might be a hog oink, or a goat. What do goats do? Blah, bah. Or a horse neigh, or dog bark. It's really interesting, especially in Texas, they don't like you to pray too long in Cowboy Churches, because just as soon as you say amen, the next thing you hear, and some of that's from women. They try to hold as long as they can, so if you really want to choke them up, you just pray longer, you know, than a walrus. Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. I can't believe how much I can see this. I might have to put my glasses back, sunglasses back on. Let there be light. These guys have been, this bunch have been working harder around here, you know, everybody always, oh, that White House, oh, we got to do something with that White House. So we're holding out on some surprises coming up, just so we can get the porcelain on the floor inside. I spent a lot of time with my kinfolk in the country growing up, and they didn't have running water in a bath, what we had was a bucket and a bath. And it would be, I think people had better control of things back then. Man, you know, they're talking about World War III. Are y'all ready for that? Doesn't seem possible, does it? But I don't know, there's about 100,000 Chinese regulars come over the border so far. And Iran says that they got their terrorist cells all over the United States that they take your lights out anytime they get ready. Well, they didn't say they was coming to see you. They'll sneak around and do all the other stuff they can do, starve you to death, or run you out of water or something, you know. You think here in Mojave County, electricity grid, electric grid goes down. Lots of folks on the water system, tall water, it can get tight quick. Well, time for a health report, I guess. I am getting better. But, they got me in the physical therapy operation part of it now because to fix what's wrong, insurance company wants you to go torture yourself with physical therapy for a while. Yeah, yeah. Well, time will probably help, you know. But I still can't sleep in the bed and that tends to wear me out. I noticed a couple times this week when things didn't go just right to see me. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. What's that mean? It means the devil and his bunch run the world. That's what it means. Man, the one that is in us, believers, when God puts his DNA in you, when you believe, he puts the Holy Spirit in you. Make sure you can't mess yourself up so bad you can't go to heaven forever. Does that sound possible? You know, always in the back of my mind, years and years, always was, man, what if I'm the first one that overloads that cup of iniquity and Father kicks me out? He never will. Just like my earthly father put his DNA in me when I was born, God puts his DNA in you when you're born again. And just like when I didn't mind my daddy or give him trouble, he might have wished he could take his DNA back, but it's mine to keep. And it's that way with God, too. Greater is he that is in you. What does that mean? That means that nothing can happen to us that God doesn't allow. And if God's going to allow it, it's for a good reason. He's never given me explanations for a bunch of this stuff, but I believe what it says, and that gives me the confidence to keep going on. I've had people that let me down. I've probably let people down, too. But I've had people let me down that were in business and stuff, and God would never let you down. But I've had so many wonderful people down through the years that's kept me coming on, kept me starting new work, meeting new people, telling the world about Jesus. It was really interesting. I was thinking about the different ways that God uses us to get His Word out. And this little scrap of paper fell out of my Bible when I was looking at it, and I remembered the mountain trails in Mexico where we went where the road ended. That's where the trailhead was for the mule trail. That would take us five, six hours across the tropical mountains, eastern Mexico, coastal mountains, oriental mountains. And most of us in the missionary group, when we go into a village, most of us were not proficient in Spanish. I could say, Dorito, por favor. Or taco, por favor. And I was pretty good at saying, Yo hablo nada en kiengo. Yo hablo poquito en kiengo nada. I could say a little bit, but I don't understand a word. So how do you, when you go in someplace where you don't speak the same language as people, how do you minister? How do you missionary? Well, we take a medical team, dental team, a nutrition team, and we go in, and we're able to, I remember one time, on Friday and Saturday, there's a, our dental team pulled over 400 teeth in one day. But how we communicated, because it started getting dark after they fed us, we would first come in off the mule train, we'd just get off, settle in, and everything that evening. And have fellowship, and they always paid us. But we'd go down to the Catholic Church, down at the end of the plaza, every little village is built like that down there. And since the people of that village never had enough money, they'd get priests to come over and talk to them. It was always closed up. And one of the things we packed in with us was a sheet, bed sheet. And we'd string it up, and we were screened on in front of that Catholic Church in town. A couple other things we brought in was a 16 millimeter projector, and a little generator to run it, and a Jesus film in Spanish. And we witnessed through that film, through that Jesus film. And it was interesting to watch our people that were Christians in the group, that had friends and relatives that weren't. It was really interesting to watch how they used that film to witness to their families, friends, and stuff. You know, they'd say, you know, they'd poke them next to them to see if they'd think. And it's amazing the number of people that come to believe and trust in Jesus by watching that Jesus film in Spanish. I was thinking about one time I stumbled over something, fell down or something, I don't remember what happened, but it really wrecked my knee. And it's six hours hiking in or hiking out, and they made me ride a mule out. Well, that sounds like that'd be a blessing. But you've got to understand that some of those switchback trails are only about that wide, and they might be 200 or 300 feet straight down off the side of that switchback. And being on a mule, I didn't know, and didn't hardly have room, you know, to have your feet and the stirrups in. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. You've just got to trust. You've just got to hang on, you know. Some of the things that give us confidence, David talked about God. And God used David to be a witness to the world with some of the stuff he wrote. In Psalms 19, it says, The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display His craftsmanship. Day after day, the heavens and the skies, creation, continue to speak daily and night after night, so that people are without excuse saying, I don't believe in God. Evidence is all around us. It's all around us. These things speak without a sound or a word. Their voice is never heard. Yet the message is gone throughout the earth and the words to all the world. God has made a home in the heavens for the sun. Verse 5 says, It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding. It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race. The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat. The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commandments of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living and reverence for the Lord is pure, lasting forever. The laws of the Lord are true. Each one is fair. They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping right from the column. And verse 11 says, They are a warning to your servant and a great reward for those who obey them. You know, all throughout the Bible, we're encouraged to pay attention to God's creation, pay attention to His Word, and to apply it to our lives. Because the more of His Word we know, the smarter it makes us. How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? David said. Just cleanse me from these hidden faults. You find those hidden faults for eating God's Word. Keep your servant from deliberate sins. I can remember when I was drinking. Drive up around Brock's Bar where I used to play cards and sometimes pool. Place was full but no parking place. God said, if you don't want me to go in there, don't let there be a parking place. Drive around the block again, sure enough, no parking place. But usually third or fourth time, I could find a place to park. Keep your servant from deliberate sins. Don't let them control me. Then I'll be free of guilt and innocent of great sin. You know that greater is He that is in you than the powers and temptations that He that is in the world can put on you. You're submissive to that power. I guess I was probably in church 30 years, never did learn, never understood how to get along with God. Cowboy Church is our mission. It's our goal. Teach people how to get along with God. Very simple. I know that there's a thousand programs out there to learn more about the Bible and learn more about God. You got this program and that program and these tapes and this movie and that movie. I looked and listened to a lot of that stuff but I never learned how to get along with God. I never learned that even though it said God created man in His image, made man a trinity, I understood that I was a trinity. I understood that I had a body, I had a soul and a spirit. Well, it amazes me how many people that have spent years and years in church they think spirit and soul are the same thing. It ain't. Spirit is the quality that God built into man that gives him the distinct ability to communicate and have fellowship with God who is spirit. That's why we got a spirit. That spirit's eternal. That spirit and your soul which is your unique identity that God gave you. That's interesting. I know they're switching around a lot of stuff nowadays but they're not paying much attention to what God says. Because God told Jeremiah, before I formed you in your mother's womb, see, he knew he was Jeremiah and not Jemima. See, there's no confusion in that. How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. You can know it by walking in fellowship with him and reading his word, being prayed up, fetched up, well fed. Now, is that important? Yes. Yes. How you spend eternity, and eternity is? Amen. How you spend eternity is determined while you're here on this earth, which is God's, I've been hijacked by the devil for a while. I figure about 1,008 years it'll all be straightened out. See, I'm figuring rapture real quick here. And then some time before the seven years start and then Jesus comes in with us coming back with him on horses, by the way. I'm going to get a job up there. Maybe I can be a farrier up there. Give me a good back, I can do it again. And then at the end of that 1,000 years, the devil and his bunch is done for. Gone forever. And that's one of the main reasons I am so anxious for the rapture. I'm so anxious for God to say, Son, I've picked out a bride for you. Go get her. Because it starts the clock ticking for the end of the corruption and destruction that sin has done on this earth. Friends, to family, to the world around us, how destructive is sin? It's eternally destructive. Keep your servant from deliberate sins. Don't let them control me. Then I'll be free of guilt and innocent of great sin. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock, my redeemer, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father. You got them on your side, what can happen? Nothing can happen to you that God doesn't allow. If he allows it, there's reason for it. And it's good. You know, there's been many times in my life I've wondered, why this happened, God? Why'd that happen, God? I've been trying. And the Word comes back to me and says, you might have been trying, but you ain't listening. You know, because it says right here, don't do this, and you're doing it the way you expect. We have these conversations, sort of, in that spiritual part of my creation. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord. Does, um, some of the websites that you get your news on and mail and stuff like that on, does it ever get infected? As a mind gets infected, devil slips stuff in there. Anybody know what I mean? Depends on how fast your mouth is, how you're getting along with God, doesn't it? 1 John 4 says, Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits. You know what the people of the United States are church shopping, and they want to find a church that's custom designed to their lifestyle. You know? That's not the way that the apostles taught us to do it. You know? It says, well, this is real popular, and it feels good, and we could whittle on some of the scriptures and twist them a little bit, and change some of the Greek in there to trash, and then we could justify what we're doing and feel good about it. So, I want to go to that kind of church. Believe not every spirit, but try the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets are going out into the world. Well, what are they going out into the world for? They're trying to hijack, mess up the bride. Not only that, they want to kill God's wife, God the Father. You know who God the Father's wife is? Israel. Now, they've been divorced for a good while, but he's got a mind for reconciliation. And by the time we're snatched away as the bride for the son, when we get ready for that big wedding party, Mama Israel's going to be there. Right now, it's tough on Mama Israel, isn't it? It's going to get tougher. Not only that, it's going to get tougher on the bride. It's not downhill coasting for us from now on. Believe not every spirit, but try the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets are going out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God. Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God. Do you realize how much in that one little phrase is there? Confess that Jesus Christ, that's the Son of God crucified. Do you believe that? That He came in the flesh. He was died, slaughtered, shed His blood as the perfect sacrifice for our sins so we can get along with God. Because there's no way we can pay for our sins and have them covered so we can have fellowship with the Holy God. God does it for us. Oh, is it just Sunday morning I can come and I can get prayed up and feshed up and well fed and the rest of the week I'll be just like the world? We might try it. It don't work. I've given away lots and lots of one-year Bibles. It's the easiest way I know to get in the habit of having a living relationship with God every day. Well, every day I don't have time every day. Why not? Well, Oprah, I don't know if she's still on. I don't know. The, what's the name? The View. P-U, The View. And a lot of stuff like that. And of course there's always like sand through the hourglass. So goes the days of our lives. I've watched that a lot. I grew up listening to it. My mama lived every one of them. I knew who young Dr. Malone was and oxydol soap. Did they have a towel? I don't know. We got towels in some of them soap boxes. I don't know. That's one we were allowed to have two a week. Yeah, we get caught up in the ways of the world which is all part of the kingdom of the devil that's running everything in the world. The only thing that absolutely keeps him from destroying everything which is what he wants to do. He wants to kill you. He wants to kill Israel. It's the spirit of God that dwells in you. Do you realize that? That's the strength. That's the power of God working on this earth today where you're willing to put up with. The Holy Spirit. Every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ come into the flesh is not of God. There's a lot of them out there like that. But there's a lot of them that think that Christ come into the flesh and sacrifice for us is not good enough. You've got to have a bunch of yabbits. This church, we believe that you're saved by faith in Jesus. Yabbit, you've got to keep the law or you get lost again. I had a good friend back in Texas. He's a high school principal. He's an elder in a church, Christ Church. I started a little church about three or four blocks away from his church. Anyway, I was always around the school. I started off there driving buses and cleaning bathrooms and anything before the bad habit of preaching. And I saw some stuff I didn't like and the next thing you know I was the president of the school board. You can do that if you get aggravated enough about what's going on around there. I didn't like what they were trying to teach my kids. We changed it. You can change it. Get involved. If you don't get involved, the devil's going to try to run right over you. Cram it down your throat. And you know what? That's what's happened to us here in the United States. We have been so blessed and so prosperous that we haven't had time to maybe do God's work looking after government, making sure that we keep the devil's kingdom restrained. I could never believe, I never believed back then that abortion would be legal and approved and sponsored by our government. But then there's people that's running government that don't believe in God. That's how it happened. There's people running school boards that's putting stuff in your kids' heads that if you knew what was going on you'd be fighting man. Every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not a god. This is that spirit of antichrist, against Christ, instead of Christ, that they want to put before you, whereof ye have heard that it should come, and even now already in the world, hear of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. They are of the world, therefore speak they of the world, and the world hears them. The world hears them, because maybe we ain't speaking up. We are of God. He that knoweth God hears us. He that is not of God don't hear us. I've got a theory about a lot of that stuff that I've been rolling around for years and years. But now I'm starting to hear people talk about it, about hybrid DNA. The Greeks, that's what they talked about, you know, when they had half humans, half goats, and that was some of their gods they worshipped. The Egyptians had, like, their god images might be half person, half cow, or a bull, or whatever you know. Those are hybrid. You've got to do some DNA messing around to get that done. DNA. Genetics. And Noah was perfect in all his geneticists, his generations. You don't think that they were messing with DNA back then, do you? Well, just because some of them hybrids they made had two rows of teeth and six fingers and thirty foot tall. Have you heard any reports that's been coming out now that's been released about maybe the Nephilim are really real? Well, I'm thinking they've had two or three thousand years messing around with DNA to get it perfected where they... Is that this thing? Well, I hear the dog, but this... I was fixing... I don't know. I think Steve's phone's up here acting up. You know, God said that the world was totally corrupted and men's hearts were on wickedness forever, for everything. And God saved Noah and his family out because he's perfect in his generations. Maybe his DNA wasn't messed up. There was a movie back in the 70s or the 80s about Noah and his family There was a movie back in the 70s or the 80s I can't remember when it was that said, They Live Among Us. You ever seen that movie? Maybe we need some glasses. I have been praying earnestly and God hasn't let me on his advisory committees or anything, but you know, God said in his word that all of Israel will be saved. All of Israel will be saved. And Jesus had explained that and Paul has explained it in different places. He said that all that are Israel are not Israel. He just kind of left it out there like that. That's sort of what apostasy in our churches is. All that are Christians in our churches are not Christians. Beloved, let us love one another for love is of God. And everyone that loveth is born of God and knoweth God. You know, he said one of the things that that the population of Romans that were pagans admired about those Jesus followers is how much they loved each other. How much they cared. Well, we've got a new church, you know. Been in a lot of them 50 years. Well, I'm working in them in 50 years. You can put almost 30 years on top of that. I've been in churches. I've seen, I've had to fight my way out of one church. A guy that wasn't qualified to be a deacon they wanted to appoint him as a deacon. And I said, it won't work. And they were talking about the Scripture and he said, that's not what that Scripture means. And I said, well, what does it mean? He said, well, I don't know what it means, but it doesn't mean what you say it means. And I said, you mean it doesn't mean what it says? And about that time, a fish comes flying by me on the church steps. I let him live. But they never come back around. I've been in churches that, I mean, you had the Hatfields and the McCoys, you know. War. And whoever had the most family in church at that meeting got to control things. You know, it's weird. But let us love one another for the love of God. Everyone that loveth is born of God and knows of God. Why is that important today? Folks, listen, we're going to have to tighten up. Be prepared. Fellowship together. Look out for one another. Because this world is fixing to change around us. And it's going to be bewildering. You see, over in Texas, they say there's like 100,000 or so people headed down there for the border. Not only that, the governor, which I've never been too proud of him for some of his reasons, but he's put the National Guard on the border. And the Federals that were wanting to keep the border open to run 10,000 military-age Chinese and Iranians into our country every day. Supreme Court said they can cut the wire. Governor of Texas said no, they can't. My men's there. They can't come on that property. They've got to stay where they live. You ain't protecting our borders. You forfeited your right to protect our borders by misapplication. And it's the state's obligation to protect its borders. Our governor's a little different than that here. Maybe it'll change. Here in his love that we love God, but that he loved us and sent his son to be the covering for our sins, the payment, the propitiations. You know, Jesus paid the price for our sins. You know what the penalty for those sins are that he paid the price for? His death. He paid all of the death penalty for us. All of it. And for anyone who can believe and will believe and trust in him, follow him. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us and his love is perfected in us. It's that sanctification word. Sanctification is we open the door, God squeezes the junk out of our lives and makes us useful in his kingdom. What David's talking about back here in Psalms, he said, I'm willing for that to happen. Don't let me slip through the cracks, God. But you know what? David stayed in touch with God. He was prayed of. He was fessed of. He was well fed. And he had the power of God. You know when God created the heavenly host, all of the angelic heavenly host is created in ranks of power and authority. It's like our army is. Maybe like a family is. Father, mother, children, tired hands, milky extra goats. But when we learn how to get along with our mom and dad, God has arranged for that to be the lesson that we have to learn on how to get along with him. He could have just made us a fig come off a branch or an apricot. But he gave us a mom and dad so that we'd learn authority and obedience. Herein is love. Not that we love God, but that he loved us and he sent his Son to cover our sins. How do we know? Hereby know we that we dwell in him and he in us, because he hath given us his Spirit. When we believe and we surrender to God, he puts his Holy Spirit in us. You know, I don't remember how that happened or when it happened or what it was. It wasn't any big tambourine-beating thing for me. I just can't remember any different because I always believed. I know there came a time when God's Spirit would tap me on the shoulders and say, don't do that. Would you quit that? Would you listen to me? Remember, we just read about that. I was always a Bible reader. My auntie, sister, and Uncle Charlie gave me this Bible when I was ordained. They gave me my first Bible when I was six years old. I still got it somewhere. Before I was seven, I'd read that whole Bible as a little kid. And I did. But in the 90s, one time we went to visit my aunt and uncle, Uncle Charlie named sis. She gave me a little scrap of paper and said, you know what this is? And I looked at it. And I, no. It was notes that I had written sitting next to her that joy is a fruit. Joy is a fruit. And it was one of the, she said, that's the first sermon you wrote. And I was about seven, eight, seven. See, God had his hand on me. He's had his hand on you. If he hadn't had his hand on you, you wouldn't be here. You'd be out someplace else. But you're here. So I figure if you're here, you want to know how to get along with God so you can teach everybody else how to get along with God. Because when you get along with God, you're an official ambassador for the kingdom of God. And your job is to help others know about that kingdom because you're an ambassador. That's why I tell people if you've got a Cowboy Church sticker on the back of your truck, don't be shooting him by the bird when you're cutting him off. You know? Hereby know we that we dwell in him and he in us because he's given us his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. I think even a Nephilim could say, I believe, I don't know if God's a Savior or not. Probably would. They ain't human. I don't know. You know what come out of Egypt? God's wife. Moses led God's wife out of Egypt. But you know there was a mixed company that come with them. I wonder what that is. They weren't all pure Israel. Some of them had half-Israel babies which is Americans. Half-Israel. And then there was a mixed multitude that were slaves and hired hands and stuff. Said, yeah, I'll take my chance to stay with Israel and get out of Egypt. I don't know. It's going to be real interesting one of these days. Because you know, God says all Israel is not Israel. And He said the same thing about the church. All that profess to be believers are not believers. I think some people don't even realize it. Herein is our love made perfect that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, folks. Judgment is on the doorstep. It's going to try you at times. It's going to try your faith. It's going to try the love of the body for each other. We love Him because He first loved us. There's now no fear in love, but perfect love casts without fear because fear has torment. But He said fear is not made perfect in love. You know, you can't... A person that is not a believer, it's hard to comfort them when they're having trials, when they're having hard times, when things are... when the bottom is falling out. They have no hope and you can't give them any hope. And they don't want any of your hope. They're just angry or depressed. But we love Him because He first loved us. If a man say, I love God and hate His brother, he's a liar. For he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? I'm going to tell you a little bit about a bunch of redneck boys in my first church I started. All cut pulpwood and four cows and laid bricks. It wasn't a red brick church downtown. And across the road from us over there was a black people's church and in the early 70's integration was new. And society really hadn't integrated. Sunday was probably the most segregated day of the week. Black churches and white churches. And the black church, they was fussing over there. I knew why because some deacons were bootleggers in the town. Wanted somebody to kill them. The chief of police protected them. So you know, it was a mess all the way around. Bought from them. Bought from them, yeah. He was a wholesaler. But the young preacher come in there preaching the word and we had a little shotgun house that was moved on our property before we'd go put Sunday school classrooms in it. And he wanted nobody to meet in that building. I said, I'll talk to my men. We talked about it, sat down there, and every one of them, you know, said, oh man, you know, in Southside, everything on the Southside was the black side. And they said, it'll sure stir things up in town if we bring them over here. But, every one of them said, they called me priest, said, but priest, from what you've taught us, we don't see how we can do anything else. But let them be there. They said, what do you think? I said, I don't want them meeting out there in that house. They said, what? After what you taught us and everything you, and I'm talking about redneck boys that would normally be just as prejudiced as they could be. I said, no, I don't want them over there in that house. I want them to meet with us. Why? That never occurred to them, but they jumped up and smiled from ear to ear and said, let's do it. And boy, did we ever have some good singing in that church and had rhythm. And, and it was an amazing thing in Deep East Texas that our church was about half black and half white. You know, somebody was saying the other day, and I've got this that I say, in fact I preached it here once about we're all pups in the same litter. There's no room for prejudice for anything. No room for prejudice. We're all pups in the same litter. We're all pups in Madam's litter. We better learn to get along and love each other. Psalms 34. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Most certainly. When you mind your daddy and mama at home when you was a kid, it's like having extra stocking stuffers at Christmas, wasn't it? Boy, just think what it is with God. How he pours the blessings on his children that obey him and love him. Revelation 22, 17 says, And the Spirit and the Bride say, Come, and let him that heareth say, Come, let him that is athirst come, and whosoever will, let him taste of the water of life freely. What does all that mean? It means God's got blessings for you. He'll save you for eternity. And eternity, will come on time. So it's page three. The blessings that God's got for you will get you through what's coming down the road, folks. His love, his guidance, his direction, the confidence that he'll give you. We've got a rocky road. Romans 8, 1 says, There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit, being in fellowship, prayed of, fessed of, well fed, every day, every day. Well, if I had to pray to God every time I messed up, I'd be praying all the time. Well, yeah, and you know what the Bible says about that? Pray without ceasing. And I said, God wouldn't pray without ceasing. It's going to really scuff up my knees. He said, Son, you sin without ceasing, even if it's just in your mind. No condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. John 8, 12 says, Then Jesus said again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world. Walk in his light. You don't walk in the darkness of this world. He that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. And the good news is, what must I do to be saved? Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. If thou confess with the mouth that the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. On that cross, one side of him was an ornery thief, and the other side of him was a thief that got saved. He said, We deserve what we're getting. This man doesn't deserve what he's getting. And he said, Lord, remember me when you come into your glory. Jesus told him, he said, Today, you'll be with me in paradise. He didn't have time to do a whole lot of good work, did he? Jesus said, You're going to be there with me, man. Hang on. Well, I'm living the Christian life. I got saved. I got my Bible. I even look at it sometimes. I try to drive decent. Now, little children, these things write unto you that you sin not. And if any man sin, we've got an advocate with us. Father, Jesus Christ the righteous, and he is the propitiation of our sins. And not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. It's there free for anybody. Please sing a little song of Red and Yellow, Black and White. They are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the children of the world. Yeah. Have you trusted Him? Or are you waiting to the last minute? Seems like a lot of folks are dying lately. Well, we've got to do the Lord's Supper. We're going to talk about that a little bit. You need to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Participate in the Lord's Supper. You need to be a believer. And before we participate in the Lord's Supper, we've got instructions Paul gave us. And he says in 1 Corinthians 11, he says, For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus, the same night in which he was betrayed, he took bread, and he was given thanks, he broke it, and he said, Take, eat this of my body, which is broken for you, this do, and remember it to me. And after the same manner, also he took the cup. And when he gets up, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, this do ye, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you do show the Lord's death till he come. And that's usually the instructions you get in most churches. But you know, Cowboy Church, we can't leave that stuff alone. We want you to learn how to get along with God. Because verse 27 says, Wherefore, whosoever shall eat this bread and drink this cup of the Lord unworthily shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord, but let him examine himself. It's like David said when we started this thing today. Search my word, old guy. Let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread and drink of that cup. Because he's fessed up. He that eateth and drinketh unworthily eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak. Sin just runs over you. It's that weak. It's not talking about picking up 100 pound weights. It's talking about resisting sin. Staying clean. Many are weak because they're out of fellowship. Many are sick because they're out of fellowship. And many sleep. There's times when God says, Son, you've embarrassed me enough. You're coming home. A sin unto death. Many sleep. For if we judge ourselves, we shouldn't have that judgment of God upon us. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord that we should not be condemned with this world. Would your earthly father whip you when you was bad? What do you think the creator of your earthly father would do when you're his child? You'd thumb your nose at him. Poke him in the eye. Not today, God. Maybe tomorrow. You know the old Pharaoh sleeping with the frogs. Moses said, When do you want me to get rid of the frogs? And the Pharaoh says, Tomorrow. Because he wanted one more night with the frogs, I guess. Jesus is the way. Jesus is the answer. Jesus is the strength. He's our fortress. He's everything. If you're not prayed up, fessed up, well fed, every day, you're letting this world cheat you out of God's blessings. Time to straighten up. We've got stuff coming down the road. Dear earthly father, I just thank you, Lord, for the blessings this day. I thank you for taking care of us. Thank you for your provision, Father. Your protection. You're leading in our lives. I thank you for the love you put in this bunch of people's hearts, Father. Lord, guide us, direct us, if there be any here that's hesitating following you. Lord, give them the strength and courage today. I ask these things in Jesus' name, church says. God, Lord, church says. Okay, pass that out, boy. Thank you. 61 years ago, two days ago, little long-haired brown-eyed girl took my glass ring on her finger and she kept it there. She traded it in for a band of gold. 61 years. And it's just been a flash. God is good. All the time. One day, I come in the gymnasium and I said, who is that girl over there? And it wasn't long, and I said, I said, God, would you give me that girl? Would you give me that girl, God? That's what I'm saying. Be careful what you ask for. Some of them won't leave no matter what. But... Yeah, at my desk, yeah. I hope to be able to sleep in that bed again some of these days. I tried it this week. I slept about four hours and that just run me out of bed. I got to sleep sitting up. We're getting at this. Thank you, baby. 61 years. If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we just thank you, Lord, for the blessings. We thank you, God, that you have given us a way to know you, the God of creation. And you've opened the pathway and light the path for us to have fellowship and relationship with you. Father, help us walk in that fellowship and that light every day, Father. Help us be the ambassadors you've called us to be to the world around us that they see a difference in living for you or living in the world. Guide us and direct us, protect us this week, Father. We ask it in Jesus' name. Church says? Amen. Cowboy Church says? Amen. And Joe says? Happy trails to you until we meet again. Happy trails to you keep smiling until then. Who cares about the clouds when we're together? Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather. Happy trails to you until we meet again. Be safe. Y'all come back now, you hear?
