Dr. Susie Truman, a chiropractor, shares four things she would never do for spine posture. She advises against holding a phone too low, carrying a heavy bag on one side, sitting without a lumbar pillow, and sitting with a wallet in the back pocket. These habits can cause neck problems, headaches, muscle strain, and early wear and tear on the spine. She also mentions that headaches, particularly tension headaches, are a sign that it may be time to see a chiropractor. Taking care of spine posture is important for overall health. Spine posture by Dr. Susie Truman. As a chiropractor, these are four things I would never do. I would never hold a phone down so low like this. This actually reverses the curve in your neck, which is scientifically shown, puts so much pressure on the brain stem, uh, it would, it will take years off your life. Of course, for better awareness, yes, of course, uh, of course, for better awareness, of course, uh. I would never carry a heavy bag on one side, because this forces the curve into my spine, and will cause shoulder problem, neck problems, headaches, focusing issues, and so much more. You know, I would never sit without my lumbar pillow. Watch what happens without it. See, my spine curves as my head is forced forward. When we're sitting like this, we're cutting signal, we're decreasing energy, we're stressing, and straining a ton of muscle adjusts just to support our whole body. What we want to do is clasp our hands behind us, drop our head back slowly as we try to lift our arms, and just take a couple of deep breaths here. Did I address the forward motion? Now we address that forward motion. We want to get some rotation, which will stimulate the organ. Know people, change your perspective on people and other people. I want to tell you weird and change your perspective. Whereas with lumbar pillow, excuse me, lumbar pillow, my lower back is supported, and my head folds back into normal alignment. Hmm, this means there's no unnecessary stress on your body while I'm sitting. I would never sit with a wallet behind my back pocket. When I do this, I'm tilting my pelvis. The entire spine has to curve to compensate, which will cause early wear and tear and arthritis throughout the entire pelvis. This concludes my paragraph. Alright, this is the conclusion. Here are four signs indicating that it may be time to see a chiropractor. The first sign is headaches, with tension headaches accounting for 80-85% of cases. I want to tell you weird and change your perspective. Remember to take care of your spine posture with Dr. Susie Schulman. Care, care, please.
