The message is about being faithful with what we are given and using it wisely. It refers to the parable of the talents, where those who used their talents wisely were rewarded with more responsibilities, while the one who did nothing had his talent taken away. The message encourages us to reflect on how we have used the gifts and blessings we have received from God and to use them wisely to justify asking for more. It reminds us that God desires us to put what we receive to good use and that he will give more to those who actively serve and utilize their gifts. The message ends with a prayer for grace to be faithful stewards and a reminder that we will be held accountable for what we have been given. If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won't be honest with greater responsibilities. Shalom Beloved, God richly bless you for making time to tune in to Radio HCI today. We are certain that the just and the subtle prayer time was a blessing to you. It is now time for our morning glory devotion, presented by Deacon and Deaconess Kielsen from the Harvest Chapel International, Binyamiku Masse. Let us kindly share a word of prayer. Our God and King, we thank you for showing us mercy and giving us another opportunity to see the light of this day. Father, our hearts are in your hands. Make them flesh as your word comes, so that your glory will be seen in us. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen. Let us kindly take our confession together from Joshua 1 verse 8. Joshua 1 verse 8. This book of the law shall not depart from my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen. Today's message is entitled, Justification for More. Justification for More. And our scripture reading shall be taken from Matthew chapter 25 verse 14 to 29. Matthew 25 verse 14 to 29. I will be reading from the New Living Translation. Again, the kingdom of heaven can be illustrated by the story of a man going on a long trip. He called together his servants and entrusted his money to them while he was gone. He gave five bags of silver to one, two bags of silver to another, and one bag of silver to the last, dividing it in proportion to the abilities. He then left on his trip. The servant who received the five bags of silver began to invest the money and earn five more. The servant with two bags of silver also went to work and earn two more. But the servant who received the bag of silver dug a hole in the ground and hid their master's money. After a long time, their master returned from his trip and called them to give an account of how they had used his money. The servant to whom he had entrusted the five bags of silver came forward with five more and said, Master, you gave me five bags of silver to invest and I have earned five more. The master was full of praise. Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount. So now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let's celebrate together. The servant who had received the two bags of silver came forward and said, Master, you gave me two bags of silver to invest and I have earned two more. The master said, well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount. So now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let's celebrate together. Then the servant with the one bag of silver came and said, Master, I knew you were a harsh man, harvesting crops you did not plant and gathering crops you did not cultivate. I was afraid I would lose your money. So I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back. But the master replied, you wicked and lazy servant. If you knew I harvested crops I didn't plant and gathered crops I didn't cultivate, why didn't you deposit my money in the bank? At least I could have gotten some interest on it. Then he ordered, take the money from this servant and give it to the one with the ten bags of silver. To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. The Lord add his blessing to the reading and the hearing of his word. Thanks be to God. Amen. Justification for more. Justification for more. Growing up, I remember how the days we ate my favorite meal of rice were very eventful for me. I would usually go for more than one round, always asking for more. However, my mom, before serving me anymore, would always insist that I was done with the first portions she had earlier served me. It didn't matter if I was almost done or pretty sure I would finish it off soon. The justification for more was an empty plate. Sermons on the parable of the talent have been shared time and time again, but permit us to take a look at it one more time. After the master returned from his trip, the two servants who had put to proper use the talent they had received from the master were highly commended and promised more responsibilities. However, the servant who did nothing with what he was given, the little he had was taken and given to another. This setting of the parable is staged daily in our lives as we approach the Father with our request in prayer. Daily we ask for more grace, more strength, more opportunities, more wisdom, more favor, more ideas, and so much more. Especially after a church service where our appetite for doing a lot more for the Lord has been wet, with raised hands and heightened desires, we ask for more of the anointing. It is never wrong to ask or receive anything from the Lord. In fact, the Father desires that we do so daily in prayer, as seen in the model prayer he taught us in Matthew chapter 6. However, more importantly, he desires that what we receive is put to good use and from it good fruits are born. Like the master did in the parable of the talents, if asked to give an account for what we did with what we last received from his bounty, what will our answer be? Would we have a good justification to ask for more? Would we like the first two servants have evidence of properly using what we received? Or like the last servant, would we have made no use of what we asked for? What have we done with all the anointing, the impartation, the laying on of hands, the opportunities, the gifts and favor we have asked from the Lord? As seen in this parable, the Lord is not willing to give more to those who will do less. Neither will he give something valuable to those who will not value it or put it to good use. Rather, he is willing to pour more anointing on those who are actively serving, more ideas to people that make use of them, more opportunities to them that prudently utilize them, more to them that have justification for more. As we go through today, let us reflect on all the things we remember to have once asked and received from the Lord. In the light of his word and with all sincerity, let us examine how best we have utilized all these free gifts. Wherever there are lapses, let us with a heart of repentance receive pardon and with grace purpose to do better. God richly bless you. Let us kindly take our memory verse for today. Our memory verse for today is taken from Matthew chapter 25 verse 29. Matthew 25 verse 29. I will be reading from the New Living Translation. To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. Amen. Amen. Let us kindly share a word of prayer. Faithful Father, thank you for your word for today. Thank you for opening our eyes to see this truth. We are sorry for the many things we have received yet failed to put to good use. We once again receive grace to be your faithful stewards, putting to good use all we receive from you. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Beloved, God expects us to profitably use the talents we receive from Him to justify our regrets for more. We are responsible for what we have been given, and we will one day have to render an account for it. Amen. Amen. God wishes to bless you for staying tuned to Radio ACI today. Please do not change your dial for there is more spiritual content coming up to bless you. Until we come your way again with another episode, stay blessed. Shalom.
